Question:
Will this hitch be hidden with only the 2inch receiver visable below the factory step bumper on a 1997 Chevy stepside pickup? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The B&W Class V trailer hitch receiver you referenced, their part # BWHDRH25122, is not a correct fit for your 1997 Chevy K1500 step-side pickup with factory step bumper. This hitch is intended for the cab-and-chassis version of your truck. But we do have a B&W fit for you.
Hitch # BWHDRH25124 will fit your truck and the hitch cross tube will be largely hidden by the step bumper itself.
This hitch offers bolt-on installation - no welding - and includes all required grade 8 hardware.
