This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

Excellent. This has been an awesome product.
Debbie - 04/22/2022

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack.

The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

Great solution for taking our bikes camping while towing our trailer
Ray H - 12/22/2021

Once the bike rack and the ball are installed there is only 3" of space for the trailer coupler to attach to the ball. Mine open hitch height is 4 ½”, most others are similar. I cannot think of any trailer/rack combination that this could even be used for. The only way it could be used would be to hitch up the trailer then attach the rack then load the rack over the trailer. Not a good or safe proposition. The only way to detach the trailer would be to unload the rack and then remove it from the mount.

Thank you for your feedback. The solution that I have would be to switch to a hitch mounted tow bar that slides into the RV receiver - making sure that the brand matches base plate - and then you could use a hitch adapter like part # RM-077-6
Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2" or 6" Drop/Rise
. You would also want to make sure that the tow bar was as level as possible.
-- Etrailer Expert Jenny N - 11/03/2021

this ball mount will now allow my tow behind car to pull it's tow dolly and my bicycle rack to the storage lot where my RV is stored. I would like to see this product available with addition drop heights, like a 4" & a 6". A 6" drop would allow my RV to hold my bike rack while also pulling my tow dolly/ tow behind car.

I have been looking for a light up trailer hitch for a long time. So when I saw this one from etrailer I was very happy. I ordered it and it came in few days.
I also purchased the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver so I could mount the light and still be able to tow with out switching them out. Both Product's are perfect for my needs. Your company is the best and I would definitely recommend Etrailer to others.
Thanks for the great service!

Installed on my 2006 GMC Envoy. Mounted a Bump Step with a self installed camera. Now have full access for adding my trailer as needed.

Absolutely still in love with this product!
Stephen E - 06/17/2021

This hitch was the best addition to my sprinter, van life setup! I can now add two mountain bikes or my water reservoir to the front of my vehicle! Very happy with it!

This was recommended to us to stop the holder we were using to carry my medical scooter from dragging on the ground and as you can see the lower part of it dragged on the ground and made it even worse and that was advice from them I have no idea how there's so many ratings for this that are above average. The cage or lift that we had on our vehicle from this company dragged all the time not a good product

The GTW of this ball mount is 7500 lbs. We will need to know what your vehicles GTW is, and we will also need to know the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the hitch receiver. Once we have this information, we should be able to better assist you.
-- Etrailer Expert Katrina B - 05/09/2022

Delivery was fast. Arrived in well packed box. Installed product with no issues at all. Works great and as advertised. Will be towing a travel trailer and needed a connection for a bike rack. When all installed, have plenty of room for placing bikes on bike rack. Really like this product!

Disappointing. Although the manufacturing quality is consistent with Curt's normally high standards, the design leaves everything to be desired. There is not enough clearance above the trailer tongue coupler latch to mount a bike rack. Even if you somehow manage to overcome this, most bike racks won't clear a telescoping jack stand. I should have sent this one back!

A very valid issue. It can be done, but you will have to measure carefully to see if this piece will work with your set up. The measurement is 3 and 9 sixteenths of an inch from the top of shank to bottom of the accessory receiver. I recommend getting a bike rack with a rise as this will be the best option for you.
-- Etrailer Expert Sierra K - 10/14/2021

It is a very substantial piece of equipment at a good price..It appears to be perfect for the intended job but i have not used it yet..

Extremely heavy duty. I will be towing a small aluminum boat behind our camper, and will build a 2 X 2 tube assembly to carry the spare tire on. I needed something to help carry my trailer spare as the hitch on the camper is mounted in such a way that I couldn't hang my spare tire on the bumper. This assures a way to carry the spare as well as tow my fishing boat!

A year later, still functioning as designed. I found my hitch pin hole to be slightly off but was able to make it fit. Still hauling the boat and carrier.
Mike H - 11/15/2018

This worked perfectly for me to haul my small pop up camper and my bike rack. It is very sturdy and easy to install and remove. I usually take it off at the campground so I can get my other supplies out of the back of my SUV without knocking my shins on it.

I still use this and love the ability to take both my camper and bikes this way.
Deborah - 04/11/2019

We use this on a luggage carrier on a Mercury Grand Marquis. My son hauls lawn mowers on the rack and it works great. Very well made

I originally thought this would work for a pop up camper and adding the bike rack. We have a Thule rack with a Jayco camper. It does not work at all for this set up. However, the product is excellant quality and delivery was prompt. I would recommend it for some other type of set up but not what I described above. I have to send it back.

Does this not work due to the turning problem with the bikes coming in contact with the trailer or propane tank? I was thinking of getting this but not if that is the problem.

Barry please the right product and it was on time

I bought the Curt D210 Multipurpose Ball mount to raise the level of a Kuat platform bike rack with extender for 4 bikes from my Drawtite hitch on a 2007 Toyota Sienna.
Service from eTrailer was superb, the mount is extremely well-built, and it fits my Sienna/hitch like a glove.
We used the rack with 4 road bikes on two trips this week-end and it worked flawlessly; not even a minor scrape through many driveways and turn-ins.
The system does move the rack back a few inches; 50.5" from the bumper, so we needed a red flag on the end (at least in MO). This is the only nit in an otherwise great product.

This product would have been perfect if the manufacturer made the upper accessory hitch higher from the lower ball. As it is, if you have an accessory mounted, you have to remove it to be able to unhitch the trailer since you cannot open the lock. Makes for a very awkward trailer and accessory combo. If you think you can keep your bike rack attached, drop off the trailer and go biking.....think again. You must remove bikes, remove bike rack, disconnect trailer and reinstall bike rack and bikes. Really????? Either the drop for the ball should have been a bigger drop or upper hitch higher.

Quality product!

perfect product. very useful. allowed me to tow my double jetski trailer from ny to fla and take my bicycles out side my suv freeing up much room inside. also at home no need to continually switch hitches.

First, let me say that eTrailer is fast, easy, and well-priced. Just received this ball mount and tried it on my Tacoma pulling a Jayco Jay Feather 17C hybrid. Works like a charm. The only issue is that the bike tires MAY hit the dual propane tanks if I really jack knife, but I can probably strap the tires together to avoid it.

Great quality and should solve my problem. Need to move motorcycle carrier up away from ground.

works perfectly

Shipping was fast. Product delivered was what was advertised. I have not used the product yet but do not feel that it won't deliver.

Raised receiver portion was exactly what I needed to attach my cargo carrier, as my Grand Caravan Receiver was too low to the ground.

This dual hitch got done what I needed it to do. If there is a downside, it's that I had to take my bicycle off of the rack, then take the rack off of the hitch, to take the trailer off of my pickup. This was inconvenient when at a motel with limited parking where I couldn't pull through 2 spaces to park as a unit. This would, of course, add about 4" of height. I needed a 4" drop on the one I have for my Yukon (dual receiver), which allowed that trailer removal. Take this as an observation, not a complaint.
