With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a stainless steel double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a stainless steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with 2-Ball Mount for your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this 180 hitch is going to slide into your three-inch receiver, and it's going to give you a two inch and a 2 5/16 inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy so you can tow different types of trailers, whether it's a small utility trailer, a camper, or a boat trailer. This dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for you to have multiple hitches. Now, when you have the shank in this orientation, this is going to give you a maximum drop of eight inches, and when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of nine inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch, so this is going to give you that adjustment that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. Now, with the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing capacity of 21,000 pounds, with the two inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds, and this has a maximum tongue weight of 2,200 pounds.
Taking a closer look at this hitch, this is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. This features a really premium black Cerakote finish. It's a ceramic coating that's going to give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So, not only is this finish going to make this hitch look great when it's on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments, such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this premium durable finish is gonna help protect this hitch, keeping it looking great, and making sure that it is going to work properly for years to come. Now, this also features a dual-pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball very easy.
So, lemme go ahead and grab one of these keys and I'm just gonna take this cover off here that protects our keyway. So, I'm gonna take one of these keys and I'm gonna insert it into the lock there, and then I'm just going to turn it and then that's going to unlock this pin lock, and then that's going to allow me to remove it. And what I'm going to do is turn this back into the locked position. That's going to allow me to remove the key. And while I have this out, I wanted to show you that these pins are aluminum along with the housing, and then our lock is plated steel, so this is durable, and it's gonna hold up really well against corrosion.
But notice just how easily our ball platform slides up and down on the shank. You're not gonna be struggling at all with this at the back of your vehicle to get that height adjustment or to swap out your ball. I just went ahead and swapped this out to the two-inch ball. So, I really like how easy this is to adjust, and now what I'm gonna do is just line up these holes and then I don't have the key inserted in this or anything, so all I have to do is push it, and you heard that click, I am now locked into place. So, I'm gonna go ahead and replace that cover to protect that keyway, and we're good to go.
And that's how easy this is going to be to make that adjustment. You're not gonna be back behind your truck there struggling to get that adjustment. Another added benefit that I really appreciate is this includes a hitch-pin lock. So, you are gonna get four keys and everything is keyed alike, so one key is gonna operate the dual-pin slider lock and this hitch lock, and this is gonna work much the same way. I'm gonna insert the key, give it a turn, it's gonna allow me to unlock this. I'm gonna put that back in the locked position. You do have a cap here to protect that keyway, and when you're ready to use this, you just slide this into your three-inch hitch receiver, you line up the holes, and then just press it firmly, and then you're secure, you're ready to go. So, this comes built in with the protection to secure your investment. You've got the dual-pin sliding lock here that's going to make sure that your ball platform secured to the hitch, and then the locking pin here that's going to secure everything to your three-inch trailer hitch receiver on the back of your vehicle. So, lemme go ahead and give you some measurements. Beginning with the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of our ball, we're sitting at about 8 1/2 inches. From the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 9 5/8 inches, and then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684-certified and VESC regulations V5-compliant. So, if you are looking for a hitch that's going to be really a great long-term investment for you, that's going to give you quite a bit of flexibility, safety, durability, and as we saw, it's gonna be very easy to use, This is going to be an excellent premium hitch to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
Condition: Badly Dinged
