Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Replacement Aluminum Single-Axle Trailer Fender for your Boatmate trailer. Now, this fender is designed to fit one tire on the side of a single-axle Boatmate trailer that's gonna help protect both your trailer and other vehicles on the road. And it does this obviously by blocking rocks and debris that your trailer tires might kick up, while also shielding your boat or cargo from damage. So, let me give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size, and just to give you a further confirmation that this is going to be exactly what you need. So, I'm looking for my tape measure here and I think I found it.
So, lemme go ahead and give you the overall length first from end to end as best as I can, and hopefully you'll be able to see that. So, from end to end, it looks like the length is right at 30 inches, and then the width, looks like we're right at nine inches. And then I do have this propped up a little bit higher, so I went ahead and measured the height from the bottom to the top here before our time together, and I came up with 14 inches. So, again, this is a single fender, so if you need a pair, obviously, you wanna adjust the quantity of your order. And the inner edge, if you notice right here, it's slightly tilted away from the trailer, so that's gonna give you a bit more clearance for your boat.
It's kind of a thoughtful touch that's going to help prevent rubbing or interference. And then the outer edge here is smooth. It's a rounded one-inch lip, so it's going to give it that clean look by reducing sharp edges, and reducing sharp edges, rather. This is made from strong, durable aluminum so you're not gonna have to worry about rust or corrosion, and it's in that diamond plate tread plate design. So, it's gonna hold up real well for you, especially on your boat trailers.
It's gonna be a bolt-on installation. I do wanna point out no hardware is included, no brackets, so you would just have to source the brackets and the hardware that will work best for your particular application.
