Question:
When l measure the trailer fender, do l measure the opening or overall height and width? Thanks

Hey Gary, thanks for reaching out, and good question. The measurements we list for our fenders are the overall height and width, not the size of the opening.
For example, that Single Axle Trailer Fender for Boat Mate Trailers # HP43VR you were looking at measures 30" long x 9" wide x 14" tall overall. Then it has a 1" wide outer edge. Typically, those 30" fenders are used with 14" (or smaller) wheels and tires. Our rule of thumb is you want at least 3" between the tire and the fender.
What kind of trailer were you thinking of using them on?
