Question:

Can I use the Parkit360 Force to move my boat trailer over wet grass? It's often raining where we're at.

Hi Tim! You can use the trailer dolly Force # PA96VR on firm, dry grass, but traction will drop off if the ground’s soft or damp. Since it’s a single-motor design, a little extra tongue weight helps the drive tire bite in better.

If you’ll be moving on grass or uneven ground regularly, the Parkit360 Transformer # PA66VR is worth a look. It uses dual 1.7-horsepower motors and stabilizer bars to keep both tires driving evenly, so it maintains traction better on slopes or softer surfaces - even though the tire size is the same.

How heavy is your boat and trailer combo? That’ll help confirm whether the Force will get enough grip for your setup.

Thanks, that helps. My boat and trailer together are about 4,500 lbs. think the Force will still work on damp grass if I put boards under the tires?

@Tim That’s a solid plan, Tim. At 4,500 lbs, you’re right in the Force’s sweet spot, and laying down a few 2x10s or plywood strips under the drive tire and trailer wheels will make a big difference on wet grass. It keeps the dolly from digging in and losing traction.
