Will Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Work On An Incline?

Updated 03/13/2026 | Published 06/26/2025

Question:

I'm looking at the 5k and 10k Parkit360 and I had a question. Will it work on an incline? I have a bit of a slope on my drive, not much, but wanted to be sure. Thank you.

Hey Tom! Great question. The Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly # PA96VR (5,000 lbs) and # PA46VR (10,000 lbs) will work on an incline. However, if the grade is more than 6% you cannot use the dolly. As long as your driveway is no more than a 6% grade it is safe to use with your trailer.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Hey Tom, did you find that the Parkit360 worked well with your driveway's slope? I'm asking because your experience could help others with similar driveways.

@RobinH guess I'm a little late here, just saw this. I'm under 6% so I grabbed it, love it, working well. Thanks for the help!

I have a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating): 3,500 lbs trailer that I’ll be parking on my drive way. The drive way is 16 feet long and then it flattens out. I can get the trailer axle 8 foot up the drive way and then attach a dolly. Would one of these models be able to tackle a 10% grade over about 10 feet or so?

@Awston technically it might but I can't recommend going against what the manufacturer says.
