Will The Electric Trailer Dolly From Parkit360 Work On Gravel Or Will Tires Spin?

Updated 10/20/2025 | Published 10/13/2025

Question:

Can I use the Parkit360 Force on compact gravel or will the tires just spin?

Brian, good question. The Force dolly 5K lbs # PA96VR performs best on paved or packed gravel. If your gravel is loose or deep, the narrow drive tires can dig in, but a few wood boards under the trailer wheels usually solve that. For frequent off-pavement use, the bigger Transformer # PA66VR has heavier duty build with 4 wheels/tires and a dual-motor setup that’s a bit more forgiving on uneven ground.

Is your trailer single- or dual-axle? That can make a big difference in how tight you can turn on gravel.

I’ve got crushed limestone on my pad - does that count as “packed gravel,” or is that too loose?

@Jeff Jeff, crushed limestone usually works fine as long as it’s compacted and not too deep. The Force’s wide tires will bite just enough on that surface, especially if you keep steady speed and avoid quick direction changes. How much slope do you have where you’re parking? That’ll tell us if you’re right at the Force’s 6% comfort zone.
