  • Recommended Disc Brake Conversion for 7,000 lb Dexter Axles
On your 2018 Montana 3791 RD, with Dexter 7K axles, we do have the parts but not in a kit for axles that large. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 13" Hub/Rotor - 7,000 lbs # K2HR712D along with Bearing Kit # BK3-100. I recommend using grease # L11390 and cap # F001520 instead of doing the oil bath simply because if a seal fails you can melt your bearings and cause more issues than what grease would allow. Then for the electrical aspects, I recommend the HydraStar Electric-Hydraulic...

  • Recommended Disc Brake Kit for Airstream Tandem Axle Trailer
To convert to disc brakes, you will need to check the bearings on your current hubs. If you pull the hub you should find on the inner and outer bearing a number printed on each. Those numbers will help to confirm the fit on your spindle. If you can't find this number, then you can measure the spindle with a digital caliper like # PTW80157 where the bearings would rest on the spindle. I've attached a photo to assist. For 6 stud hubs with rotor, I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit...

  • Galvanized 6 Lug Trailer Hub For a Spindle With 2.125 Grease Seal and 1.75/1.25 Bearing Sizes
If you are only needing an idler hub we have the DeeMaxx # DE96VR which you will need to combine with the Bearings # 25580, # 15123, Grease Seal # GS-2125DL and either a standard Grease Cap # F001520 or EZ Lube Cap # DC250L-DCRP. For a hub/drum assembly we have either the EZ Lube Hub/Drum # AKHD-655-6-G-EZ-K or Standard Hub/Drum # AKHD-655-6-G-K. Both of these will require you to switch the grease seal to the Seal # GS-2125DL which fits your spindle.

  • Will the Bearing Kit for Disc Brakes # DBRKHW6 Fit a Hayes T52 5,200 lb Axle
To determine whether or not the Bearing Kit for Disc Brakes # DBRKHW6 will fit your Hayes T52 5,200 lb axle you will first need to pull a hub and locate the inner and outer bearing numbers as well as the number for your grease seal. The kit includes inner bearings # 25580 and outer bearings # 15123 with their races, grease seals # GS-2250DL, as well as drive-in grease caps # F001520 (with a 2.446" outer diameter), and 10 of our 1/2" trailer wheel lug nuts # CE11051. If you cannot find...

  • Diameter of Hole Where Grease Cap Sits on 6K Dexter Trailer Idler Hub With 6 on 6 Bolt Pattern
The diameter of the pilot hole - where the grease cap will be - of the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 6,000-lb Axles - 6 on 6 - Agricultural # 42660UC1 is 2.446 inches. The correct grease cap to use with this hub is Grease Cap # F001520. This hub does not come with bearings, races, grease seal or cap so you will also need Bearing Kit # BK3-300. This kit has all the correct bearings, races and seal for this hub. I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.

  • Recommended Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Set Up for 2016 Montana 3710FL 5th Wheel
I was able to confirm that your Montana 3710FL uses tandem 7000 lb axles. A 7K axle would typically have an 8 on 6-1/2 wheel bolt pattern and the spindles would be compatible with a 25580 inner and an 14125A outer bearing. You'll want to identify the inner and outer wheel bearings used by your current hub/drums. Let me know if your hubs uses a different outer bearing. If your drums use the 25580 inner and 14125A outer bearing, I'd recommend the Kodiak 13 Inch Hub/Rotor Kit, part # K2HR712E....

  • 2.44 inch Diameter Dust Caps for Trailer Bearings on a Coromal Van
We carry the TruRyde Grease Cap, # F001520, that should work for you, but you will need to make sure that the depth of the cap will work with the existing hubs on your Coromal Van. The depth of this cap is 1.03 inches, so as long as the spindle on your van does not protrude more than 1 inch beyond the face of the hub this grease cap will work for you.

  • Recommended Parts For Adding Disc Brakes To Tandem Trailer With 6,000-lb Axles
We have all the parts you need but they do not alll come in one kit. I will make some recommendations that will work for your 6,000-lb axles. First, you can use the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2HR526D. This includes the hub and rotors for one axle. You will also need a bearing kit, part # BK3-100 for each wheel. Since the lug nuts, part # CE11051 are not included, you can purchase them separately. For a grease cap you can use part # F001520. For a 25-ft long brake line kit that...

  • Grease Cap for Kodiak Disc Trailer Brake Kit # K2HR526D
The recommended grease cap for disc brake kit # K2HR526D is 2.446 inch grease cap # F001520. So yes, a 2.44 would be the correct size if you already have some.

  • How to Measure for Replacement Grease Cap on Trailer
You will need a Digital Caliper # PTW80157 to measure the inner diameter of your hub. Here are the most commonly used size grease caps. If you have threads or a different size please let me know what you have so I can show you your options. 1.988" # F001518 2.446" # F001520 2.722" # F001526

  • Grease Cap for Dexter Axles With 2-3/8 Inch Outer Diameter
The closest thing we have to a 2-3/8" outer diameter is the Grease Cap - 2.446" Outer Diameter - 1-5/16" Tall - Drive In # F001520. I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157 when measuring to ensure accuracy. If you find that it is in fact 2.375" then we do not have a grease cap available in that size. I'm not sure what you have now, but this has a crown height of 1.03" so you can compare to see if it is a lower profile.

  • Grease Cap Needed For Trailer Hub/Drum With Bearings Number 25580 Inner And Outer 15125
In looking at kits for this bearing combination, there is a good chance you have a 2.446 inch outer diameter grease cap like # F001520. I recommend checking the inner diameter of your hub/drum where this cover sits to confirm size. A digital caliper like # PTW80157 is the best way to measure.

  • Recommended Disc Brake Kit With 9/16 Inch Studs For 7,000-Lb Axle
We do have a disc brake kit with 9/16-inch studs you asked about. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2HR79E. This kit has 13-inch hub/rotors and an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and is designed for 7,000 lb axles. The brake flange has a 5-bolt configuration. The inner and outer races are included but the bearings and seal are not so you will need part # BK3-200 that does include the bearings and seal. If you need new lug nuts for the brakes part # 6-53 is what you need. for a...
