Best tire chains for 4Runner with 285/70/17 Toyo open country RT tires? Tires have an agressive/beefy tread pattern Looking for good performance for on road and off roading. Please suggest the best chains for each category: On road Off road Both on and off road Thanks

Hey Eric! We don't have any off-road only chains for your 285/70-17 tires but I've got some great options for on and off road and on road only. I have listed them below:
On Road - pewag Wide Base Tire Chains w Cams - item # PWE3229SC. These chains have square links for the best grip in snow and ice and they are reversible. When one side wears out, you can just flip the chains over and it is like a whole new set.
On Road/Off Road - Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base and Dual Tires item # TC3229. These have a twisted-chain design that provides extra grip and traction. These do not have cams. So they will not come undone when you are driving in reverse or navigating rough terrain. They do max out at 30 mph though.
