Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the ProGrip cam buckle latching straps. Now these tie down straps are great for securing cargo in your truck bed or trailer, even on your hitch mount and cargo carrier, roof rack system, cargo basket, inside a cargo box. They're really great straps to have on hand so that way when you're ready to strap down some gear and secure it, you're able to do so quickly and easily. They feature the nice cam lock buckles that are designed to hold the strap tight over your gear. So basically what you do is you place this around your gear and then you take the strap and you feed it through the buckle. Just gotta wiggle it through.
Then on that buckle, it features multiple small teeth. So that way you can always take any slack that you may have out of the strap. You can always tighten it. But those teeth grab onto the strap and prevent it from back feeding or loosening. So it's a really nice secure design. When you are ready to release tension, all you have to do is press on the release lever and then it easily allows the strap to come back through.
Now the strap itself is made from high tense style polyester webbing. It's a nice, strong, durable design. It's bright yellow in color. So it's highly visible. Each strap measures 8' long by 1 1/4" wide.
Both straps are included. Safe working load limit is 200 pounds per strap. Maximum load or break strength rating is 600 pounds per strap and again, both are included. That's gonna do it for today's look at the ProGrip cam buckle latching straps.

Very durable,I use them to lash my kayak to the trailer. They stay outside all of the time and after a year of use show no sign of wear.
