Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Cargo Smart rope ring tie down strap. This is designed to work with the E or X track cargo management systems, and it offers a 667 pound capacity. Part number is 348893. Now the connection point between the D ring and our anchor is going to be a two inch wide polyester strap. This uses smart web technology, so it's very durable and abrasion resistance. And it's going to offer you years of excellent service.You can see the heavy duty stitching that they've got here in a cross pattern, keeps everything nice and secure, we won't have to worry about that coming unraveled.
With that nice durable construction, It's going to offer a 667 pound safe working load limit, and a 2000 pound brake strength. Now one thing to keep in mind, your connection or anchor point is only going to be as strong as the track you're using, so be sure you use appropriate fasteners, and get that secured in several locations to give you the maximum potential out of that system.Now our tie down ring is going to work like any other E or X track accessory. So I'm gonna pull that tab over, once that's over, you want to slide the larger opening into your track, press it down, and then just push it the other way. It's going to lock in position, give us our good tie down location. To see the D ring, It'd be nice and large, so whatever size strap you need to connect, it's not going to be an issue at all.Let's get everything cinched down.
