Today we'll be reviewing part number H20036. This is the 6 way molded trailer wire connector from Hopkins. This is a pre-wired 6 way trailer connector. It's going to measure 8 feet in total length. It's got the insulator that goes around the wires to protect them from the elements. You're also going to have the easy finger pull tabs that's going to make disconnecting very easy and effortless. Here on this end you have the exposed wire ends for easy installation.
Now to go over the wiring code, the white wire's going to be our ground, the brown is going to be for our taillights, the green is going to be for right turn and break, yellow's going to be left turn and break, red is going to be for our break power, and black is going to be for our auxiliary. That's going to do it for our review for part number H20036. This is the 6 way molded trailer wire connector from Hopkins. .

Hard to find 6 wire and this was an easy way to get the lenght I needed and the 6 wire connector already installed on one end.
I like this style of plug because it is molded and is important in keeping water out of the plug. It is conveint because it has the right colored wires. I have a water tight termination box with studs that it is wired into. Once I damaged the cable so I opened up the terminal box installed eyelet lugs on the spare pigtail, and installed it in a fiew minuets. I keep a spare on hand with lugs on it so if I have an accident I can quickly replace it. I also use these on some of my smaller tow behind equipment. that's why I like this size plug it isn't real bulky.

This is not a molded connector as advertised. It is a replacement 6way connector attached to 8ft of cable, and would cost less to build buying the parts separately! The Bargman #50-61-108 is a true molded connector if that's what you're looking for.

This is a great deal. It will replace a double cable with a molded cable with all wires in one. I am also adding a connector box , which will make a much neater connection rather than splicing the wires. Thanks for all the help.

GREAT
The plug was missing the set screw and collar that compresses on the cable to prevent strain on the connectors when removing the plug. You can see the set screw clearly in the product picture.
