Will Hopkins trailer connector part # H20036 fit the male connector of Hopkins Endurance HM48420. Thank you.

The Hopkins Trailer Connector, # H20036, will work with the Hopkins Endurance 6-Way Socket, # HM48420. One thing to keep in mind when using these two items is to make sure that you wire the Endurance socket so that it is compatible with the 6-way trailer connector.

There are two different ways to wire a 6-way trailer connector and the main difference is the location of the brake control wire and the 12 volt power wire. I have attached a photo that shows how you should wire the Endurance 6-way socket to make it compatible with the Hopkins 6-way trailer connector that you referenced.

Another thing to remember is that the brake wire on the Hopkins 6-way trailer connector is the red wire. Typically the brake wire is identified by a blue wire, but Hopkins chose to use a red wire instead of a blue wire. The black wire on the trailer connector is for the 12 volt power.
