Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this TecNiq Wiring Harness. Now this is a pre-wired electrical connector that's designed to make installing trailer or vehicle lighting quick and reliable. This is a three pole, (soft music) tri-pole connector, which means it carries three circuits, typically used for things like running lights, turn signals, or brake lights. As you can see here, we are color coded, so you've got the red and the black, and then you've got ground. So it's gonna be very easy to identify which is going to be which.
And this is going to be, overall, I don't know if I'll be able to fit this into frame. Let's see what I can do here, since I've got that pretty tight. The overall length, and I'm including the connector here, I'm gonna say we're sitting pretty close to altogether, right at about 12 inches on my particular connector that I have. If I'm just measuring the wires, if you wanna be technical about it, it's a little over 11 inches it looks like. So that's just the wires.
But overall, the connector's probably pretty close to a foot. I think sometimes those, the length of the each, the length of the wires can vary. But overall, you're looking at about 11 to 12 inches of length here. So there's not gonna be really any need to build a pigtail, is what I'm trying to say here. Now on the wire ends, it does use 0.156 inch bullet terminals, as you can see here, which are common in trailer and automotive wiring and make connections pretty straightforward.
It also includes a number six ground lug, so you're gonna be able to get a solid, dedicated ground connection without extra hardware. The connector body itself is set at a 90 degree angle, which is gonna help with cleaner routing, and it's gonna make it easier to fit in tight spaces, behind lights or panels. But overall, it's basically a plug and play wiring solution for the most part, commonly used in trailers, RVs, marine, and automotive lighting applications. So if you're looking for a durable, professional-grade connector that's going to simplify your wiring and reduce install time, it's gonna be a good item to consider as long as it meets the specifications that you're looking for.
