This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this 16 inch by 7 inch gunmetal gray Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the 8 on 6-1/2 half inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel, which is very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And we mentioned it's the Eagle Series. And the Eagle Series you can see is a split eight-spoke design, has a gunmetal gray finish, and if you looked at the edge of the spokes, you can see they do a machine finish on the edge to give it some shine. The size on this wheel, the dimension is the diameter, which is always measured inside to inside, if we're gonna put a ruler on it, you can see there's your 16 inch diameter.
If we measure the width, it'll be the same way. It's inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. There's your seven inch width. Now, the bolt pedal on this wheel is an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a bolt pattern that's an even number of lugs, like in this case eight, it's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So to measure your bolt pattern, all you have to do is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this, it'll measure six and a half inches. So that means this has an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This wheel will use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18. Weight capacity on this wheel is 4,080 pounds.
Now if you notice, this wheel does not have a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that will have the same diameter as this pilot hole. Because when you install your center cap, it will go through this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.88 inches.
They do use a automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect it from any scuffs and scratches. And one of the nice features I like on this wheel is they use the steel inserts right here in the lug nut wells and these are designed to help keep your wheel securely in place on the trailer hub. So basically when you put this onto your hub, this goes over the wheel studs, put your lug nuts on, torque them down. These steel inserts will prevent those holes from elongating and wearing down. Eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. If you notice, the valve stem, does include this metal valve stem right up here. It's installed. And this wheel does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. They do offer a complimentary roadside assistance for two years and a flat tire service is available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Lionshead 16 inch by 7 inch gunmetal gray Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
