Features to know about

Built for Everyday Hauling: 1,165-lb Capacity and 0 Offset

This 8" x 7" steel wheel is made to handle real load work with a 1,165-lb capacity and a zero offset design that centers the mounting flange right where it should be. That even weight distribution helps it clear the frame the same way your current wheel does and keeps your trailer balanced under load.

Corrosion Protection That Lasts: White Powder-Coated Steel

The white powder-coated finish resists corrosion and road grime so the wheel keeps looking clean after miles of use. It’s a sturdy steel build that meets Department of Transportation standards, backed by a limited 1-year warranty for peace of mind on long-term reliability.

Straightforward Fitment: 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern with 2.5" Pilot Diameter

No guesswork when it comes to matching your hub. This wheel uses a standard 4 on 4" bolt pattern with 1/2"-20 bolt holes and a 2.5" pilot diameter for consistent, secure fitment. With its zero offset, total width of 7", and bead seat design, it fits easily where a proper 8" diameter rim is called for.

Ready to Handle a Range of Tires: Compatible with Common 18x8.50-8 and 215/60-8 Sizes

The 8" x 7" dimensions make it a solid match for tires like the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire #AM1HP28 or similar sizes in the 215/60-8 range. That flexibility means you can pair it confidently with popular trailer or equipment tires rated for similar load demands without second guessing fit or performance.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Video Transcript for Review of Americana Trailer Tires and Wheels - Wheel Only - AM20021

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Americana eight-inch by seven-inch white, solid-center steel trailer wheel. It's a four on four-inch bolt pattern. Now this wheel's a sturdy steel construction. Now eight-inch trailer wheels are commonly found on smaller trailers like snowmobile trailers, jet-ski trailers, small boat trailers and even small campers. They do have a solid center design to 'em and they use a white powder coat finish that's put over an ECO primer to help resist rust and corrosion.

The wheel is a high-quality wheel. Does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. Now there's a couple dimensions I wanna give you, the diameter and the width of the wheel. And when you measure the diameter, what you'll be measuring is the inside and inside measurement. And the reason is 'cause when a tire's put on the wheel, the tire bead's gonna seat right here.

So, basically you're measuring from bead seat to bead seat to get the diameter. And just to show you, if we do a inside-to-inside measurement, there's your eight-inch diameter. And on this we do the width, same way, bead seat to bead seat, or inside to inside. And you'll be able to see there's your seven-inch width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a four on four-inch bolt pattern.

And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs. Like in this case, it's pretty easy because the lug holes you can see are directly across from each other. So if you just pick one hole, let's say this one, and then measure across from the center of this hole, directly across to the center of the hole, right across from this area. So, if we measure center to center straight across, it's four inches. So that means it's a four on four-inch bolt pattern.

Pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center, is 2.5 inches. The wheel lug size this uses is a 1/2-inch by 20. And the weight capacity, which is stamped on the wheel, is 1,165 pounds. But that should do it for a look at this Americana eight-inch by seven-inch white, solid-center steel trailer wheel with the 4 on 4-inch bolt pattern.

The trailer hubs were a great price, were well made, fit perfectly and arrived ahead of eta. Specifications about the product made it easy to choose the right parts without guessing. Very good quality.
I'm very satisfied with this product and etrailer and will order from this company again.

Fast delivery, awesome pricing, work's perfect for a replacement wheel

by:

A big Thank You! to George, Kurt and Steven for processing, pulling and packing this order.

Wheels are excellent, well made and DOT approved. Their size is clearly stamped into each wheel and the finish is a gloss white that looks to be heavy/thick and should last for years on trailers, lawn carts and lawn equipment. I'll be using some of these for those applications as well as GoKarts and Minibikes.

Everything was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Each wheel was isolated from the others and well protected from shipping damage.

Quick and reasonable shipping. Quality wheels at a value price, and I was in the tire industry for 42 years. Not all of your products are going to end up on a trailer, we have 8 of your wheels on 2 of our go kart buggies. My grandson liked the finish on these wheels so much we left them white and did a black and white paint job. Just waiting for nicer weather to go ride.

I read a couple of reviews and Q&A regarding using these on a Toro zero turn lawnmower and I wasn't quite sure if they would fit or not so I took a chance and bought them. I have a Toro SS4225 that came stock with 18x7.5x8 tires and a rim that appeared to be about 5 3/4 wide. As the stock tires tend to slip in wet conditions I wanted to install some wider more aggressive ATV tires I purchased from another site The tires and size were WDT P311, 18x9.5-8 for $36 each and require a 7" wide rim. I first want to say the the 4" bolt pattern and 2 1/2 center hole appear to be correct for this mower. There doesn't seem to be any ambiguity and it appears to be a 4" bolt pattern exactly. However, the trouble is in the rim offset which is significantly different. The difference in offset and tire width make it so there is almost no clearance between the tire and the mower. So in order to make the tires and rims fit without clearance issues I purchased a set of 2" spacers from ebay for about $35. However, anything between 1/2"-2" should work fine. In fact, before I got the spacer I screwed on a set of 1/2-20 nuts behind the rims and that worked until I was able to get proper spacers. So for those of you who are unsure about using these with a 42" toro zero turn mowers they do work within the above mentioned limitations.

by:

The 8” x 7” rims I purchased are just what I needed for my Toro Z2400. I had bought 18 x 8.50 x 8 tires which would not fit my stock rims. The purchased rims from etrailer were very reasonably priced and just what I needed!

Still working perfectly.

by:

The product was exactly what I needed to replace an old lawnmower wheel.

by:

Used these wheels on a atv trailer build several months ago. Worked great!

by:

I build custom trailers for hunters to pull behind their 4 wheelers. Your wheels are a nice clean touch to the finished product.

by:

These are perfect! I got them for my Husqvarna zero turn mower and some aggressive tires I picked up. Wow, I can't believe how affordable the rims are! They fit, they look great, and I will be recommending anyone who asks about them to etrailer.

by:

The quality of the wheel was ok. The outer edge of the wheel and valve stem hole are dangerously sharp. Thankfully I was painting the wheel and was able to properly smooth all sharp edges. Although the price is great, I wouldn’t buy this product again if I was looking for a coated and finished ready to install wheel.

by:

Perfect! Fast shipping looks great just like the picture and most importantly, works exactly as it should.Excellent follow up from customer service keeping me informed of the status of my order.8x7 4on4 rims

by:

They look great and function very well. No more spinning tires and loss of traction while cutting grass.

Bought a used yacht club trailer to haul my pulling tractor's around. Figured I would look for new rims for it and found these. Great price. Fast shipping and well packaged. Have not mounted them, but will get a updated photo when I do

by:

Great wheels. I used them on my Steiner tractor and they fit perfectly. I paired them with bar tires and have had 0 issues.

by:

These wheels worked well for my application -- my Toro ZTR lawn mower. Due to getting stuck with the wimpy stock turf saver tires, I decided to replace them with something with better traction. The aggressive tires I chose required wider wheels than stock to work. You can't beat the price of these wheels. Toro sells these types of wheels online for $87+/wheel and these were $17/wheel. ...Well that's a no brainer! My purchase went smooth and this company's communication was excellent.

  • 8 Inch Trailer Wheel to Fit 18.5 x 8.5-8 Sized Tire on a 2,000 Pound Axle
I looked for a previous order from you but I wasn't able to find one. I think I can still help you though. Your 18.5 x 8.5-8 sized tires fit a 8 by 7 inch rim. And since you have brake drums on your 2,000 pound axles they're likely a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. We have 3 options that fit the criteria in different finishes: Galvanized, part # AM20028 White paint, part # AM20026 Silver paint, part # AM20027 If you can tell me why the rims you find don't fit over your hubs, or if for...

  • Looking for a 4 on 4 RIm with Less than 4" Back Spacing
Thanks for reaching out Bo, Looks like you're re-creating a mud motor, correct? The closest match wecarry is the Steel Trailer Wheel - 8" x 7" Rim - 4 on 4 - White # AM20021. It's the widest 8 inch rim we carry in that bolt pattern. One thing to note is that it has a 0 offset, which gives you 4" of backspacing. If your setup absolutely requires less than 4" of backspacing, we don't currently have a wider 4 on 4 rim that meets that spec. What do you use the setup for; fishing, hunting?

  • 8" Trailer Tire With a Speed Rating over 80MPH
I am going to need to know what size trailer tire you have as there are several different size tires which fit an 8" wheel. I do see the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP26 is our highest speed rated tire for an 8" x 7" Wheel # AM20021. This tire is a size 215/60-8 with a speed rating of 81mph and weight rating of 935lbs.

  • Would These Wheels Work on a Zero Radius Turn Mower?
The wheel you mentioned has a 900 lb weight rating, so the capacity will not be your problem. The wheel size is the same, but I am not entirely sure that the bolt pattern will be close enough to match up. A 4 bolt on 100mm bolt pattern would equate to 4 on 3.94 inches, which would be far enough off that it would not fit. The # AM20021 is for 1/2 inch wheel studs and has a 2.5 inch pilot diameter. I would recommend confirming the bolt pattern of your hubs, I have linked you to an FAQ...

I do likely have some options for this trailer but we don't have any way to look up what parts it uses therefore you need to provide some information, namely the axle capacity which should be stamped onto the tag in the center of the beam. It likely uses 2,000 lb axles and in which case you would be looking at either the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # CE13110 for 4 lug or part # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-1K for 5 lug. • What is the Offset and Backspacing of Dexstar 8x7 Inch Trailer Wheel with 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern
First, I can tell you that we carry few rims that have an offset. If it did have an offset it would be listed so it looks like the Dexstar Wheel, # AM20021, has a zero offset. Given that it has a zero offset the total width of the rim is 8 inches (7 inches bead to bead plus a 1/2 inch on each side for the lip). That would make the backspacing 4 inches (distance from rim lip to mounting surface). I went out to the warehouse and pulled one of these wheels to be sure. It did have a backspacing...

  • Can Modern 8" Diameter Wheels Work With 7" Drum Brakes On Trailer?
I wish it would, but the Steel Trailer Wheel - 8" x 7" Rim - 4 on 4 - White # AM20021 you were looking at will not work with 7" drum brakes as the I.D. of the wheel is closer to 6". It may be possible to find an extra wheel like your current wheels on a resale website. Instead the only modern option I am aware of is going with the 10" or larger wheel like the Steel Trailer Wheel - 10" x 6" Rim - 4 on 4 - White # AM20041.
