Question:
Hi I am custom building a small trailer with a roof. There are no plans for sides. Think of a mobile deck. My question is about tires. I might drive this trailer from Florida to west virginia. I normally drive 60 to 70. The base for my trailer came with old 8 inch tires which hold air. It has 4 bolts. Can you recommend a tire thats a little bigger which can safely go as much as 75 to 80. I am not going to drive that fast with this trailer EVER. But i like to be stronger than required

I am going to need to know what size trailer tire you have as there are several different size tires which fit an 8" wheel. I do see the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP26 is our highest speed rated tire for an 8" x 7" Wheel # AM20021. This tire is a size 215/60-8 with a speed rating of 81mph and weight rating of 935lbs.
