When you’re carrying gear or equipment that pushes the limits, you need a tire that can handle it without flexing under pressure. The Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire delivers a 1,100-lb maximum load at 35 psi with a 4-ply (Load Range B) rating. It’s been rigorously tested to exceed Department of Transportation standards so you can tow with confidence knowing it’s built for real hauling.
A flatter tread profile helps this tire track straight and stay planted on the road, even when loaded down. Its sturdy sidewalls are designed specifically for trailer use, providing the support needed for heavy loads without compromising stability. That combination adds up to confident handling and a smoother feel on the highway or in tight turns.
The bias ply build is tough where it counts. Layers of thick nylon cords are set at a 30- to 45-degree angle and crisscrossed for strength, giving the entire tire uniform flex and durability. Those reinforced sidewalls soak up bumps and help maintain control across uneven surfaces, making towing on back roads or gravel feel more predictable.
It’s one thing to say a tire is tough—it’s another to back it up. This Loadstar tire includes a 5-year limited warranty plus a 1-year worry-free guarantee that covers replacement if it’s damaged in the first 12 months. It’s reassurance that this tire is made to last through season after season of towing.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"
