Comparing Trailer King RST To Kenda Loadstar ST Tires

Question:
Trying to decide between the trailerking rst and the loadstar st tires for a boat trailer. Which is better?

Expert Reply:
The Trailer King RST are a pretty middle of the road tire, not bad but not a top of the line tire.
On the other hand the Kenda Loadstar ST tires are a high quality tire designed and strenuously tested in Ohio to make sure the tires are as reliable, and strong as possible.
The Loadstar ST tires included a 1-year worry free guarantee and 5 year limited warranty which shows how confident Kenda is in the tire, where Trailer King tires only have a 5-year warranty.
With that said, the Loadstar ST tires are a bias ply where the RST is a radial. For a high quality radial tire I recommend taking a look at the Kenda Karrier line. A radial tire is better for highway use due to the ply design, where a bias ply is better for off road.
If you can tell me what size tire your boat trailer uses I would be happy to recommend a specific tire for you.
I included a video of the Kenda Loadstar ST175/80D13 # AM1ST74 for you to take a look at.
