Features to know about

Made for Long Hauls at Real Highway Speeds: Load Range D with 81-mph Rating

When you’re towing long distances or through hot conditions, this combo stays steady mile after mile. The Provider ST205/75R15 radial tire has an 8-ply rating and handles up to 2,150 lbs at 65 psi with a speed rating of M (81 mph). The radial design uses double steel belts and double polyester cords for a strong, smooth-running tire that meets DOT specs and exceeds FMVSS standards. It’s highway-ready and built to last.

Ready to Use Straight from the Box: Match Mounted and Balanced for a Smooth Ride

You don’t have to make an extra trip to the tire shop. Taskmaster assembles and balances this ST205/75R15 tire on a 15" x 6" wheel so it’s ready to install. Each unit is laser-checked for heavy and light spots, then match mounted and weight balanced for a stable feel on the road. The result is less vibration, even tread wear, and more time rolling instead of wrenching.

Built Tough Against Rust: Silver Powder-Coated Steel Wheel

This steel modular wheel isn’t just sturdy—it’s built to fight corrosion. The e-coat primer and silver powder coat finish protect against rust from rain, salt, or humid storage. Beveled stud holes help keep the wheel tight against the hub, reducing the need for retightening lug nuts. It’s a solid, low-maintenance design that holds up over years of use.

Confident Handling in Wet or Cold Weather: Automotive-Grade Radial Tread

The Provider tread pattern uses sipes and open ribs to move water away fast. That means better traction when roads are wet, snowy, or icy. A nylon tread-firming belt overlay helps prevent tread separation, while the baked rubber compound keeps its grip over time. You get dependable control when conditions aren’t ideal.

Close-up comparison of Provider radial tire tread showing detailed grooves and siping that improve water drainage and traction on wet or icy roads.

Peace of Mind When You Need It Most: 2-Year Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

Every assembly includes a 2-year limited warranty and Platinum Plus roadside assistance. If you get a flat, a technician will replace it with your spare tire—available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s extra assurance that your setup is protected wherever your travels take you.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R 15 On Silver Mod - 5/5 is an excellent radial tire/wheel combo for the price! Purchased to use as a spare on my 8' x 12' foot flat bed/utility trailer. This purchased wheel matches my current wheels and once my current ST205/75D (biased) tires wear out, I plan to replace with the radial tire version purchased here via etrailer.com

by:

I needed to replace all four tires on my camper. Etrailer made that easy for me by providing information online as to tire specifications and hub configuration. Pricing with rims included was very competitive even against tire discounters who offered tires only. Mounted tires were shipped (free shipping) promptly and delivered to my door by UPS. Each tire was individually boxed and had the proper inflation. Easily swapped out the tires in my driveway yesterday saving me a lot of rigamarole running back and forth with the camper to have new tires mounted. Picture attached.

I’m a returning customer because of the service and prices. 5 stars

by:

Best price I could find on line or going to different stores + free shipping!! This is a spare for my trailer dolly great to pull my cobra kit car!!

by:

All 5 tires showed up each boxed separately. Free shipping and had them within a week. Their customer service kept me informed as to where in the process my order was. Would definitely order from etrailer.com again.

by:

It's a spare tire. Very round. Came well packaged in a cardboard box.

I'm giving 2 stars because I ordered this tire and rim combo and when it arrived the tire was the correct brand but the rim was incorrect. The rim was supposed to be an ARC brand and powder coated. The rim that arrived was made by Maxion and it was acrylic enamel. etrailer took the tire and rim combo back after I explained the issue. Fast forward a few months I was shopping for the rim and tire combo shown above and it showed instock. I ordered it and when it arrived the same thing happened. What I received was not what was pictured. Again I was ordering the ARC rim and Provider tire and I received the Maxion rim and Provider tire. So I called again and it sounds like the person that received the return just put the tire and rim combo back on the shelf even though I explained in detail to the person on the phone it was mislabeled. I know etrailer has had the ARC rim and Provider tire combo because I've ordered one from them before. I give the customer service kudos for trying to help me but its too bad there was a communication break down between the person answering the phone and the person accepting the returns. The tire and rim pictured is correct to what I was trying to order. What I was trying to order was even in their video describing the product. The ARC rims has a little round gold sticker with the letters ARC.

Purchased this tire/wheel combo as a spare for my utility trailer. I was amazed at the speed of delivery and the perfect match to the wheels I currently have on the trailer. I also purchased a Master #262DAT spare tire carrier lock and Wishbone #A20WB 4-way wire combo from etrailer. com. Unfortunatly, etrailer did not carry a spare tire carrier that suited my needs so I built my own, everything installed perfectly. I am extremely please with the products and customer service I received from etrailer. Will definitely purchase from etrailer again as the need arises.

by:

Quick shipping. Exactly what I ordered

by:

My 2011 trailer came with these tires on it never had a tire problem for 10 years and still have them around as spares. So they will be good on my 2020 trailer.

by:

Exactly what I ordered but even better. They not only mounted and inflated the tire/wheel; they also balanced it. Thank you etrailer !

Ordering from etrailet. Com was easy and convenient. They had just what I was looking for. I don’t remember exactly how long it took my order to be delivered. I remember it was not very long, week to week and a half maybe.

  • Recommended ST205/75R15 Tire w/ a 6 Lug Wheel
No, I am sorry we do not carry Goodyear tires anymore. The closest thing we have to that set up is the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D item # TA87VR. This is a load range D tire with a maximum capacity of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi.

  • Looking For New Wheels And Tires For 1967 Streamline Duke Trailer With 7.00-15 6-Lug Tires
Hello Luisa, thanks for reaching out. The 7.00-15 tire size is an older, bias-ply size that really isn’t used much anymore. It measures roughly 29 inches tall and about 7 inches wide. From what you described, it also sounds like your wheels use a 6-lug pattern, which today typically means 6 on 5-1/2 inches. There isn’t an exact modern replacement, but a commonly used alternative is the Provider ST205/75R15 Trailer Tire with Silver Mod Wheel – 6 on 5-1/2 # TA87VR. This setup is about 27...

  • What is Backspacing of Trailer Wheel and Tire # TA87VR
Like most trailer wheels the wheel that comes with the Taskmaster Wheel and tire part # TA87VR you referenced has a zero offset which means the backspacing is half of the width of the wheel plus one inch for the mounting lip. So that means the backspacing is 3-1/2 inches.

  • What is Most Common Trailer Wheel 6 Lug Bolt Pattern
If you have a trailer wheel that has a 6 lug setup you are going to have a bolt pattern of 6 on 5-1/2 inches. This is the standard 6 lug wheel bolt pattern that trailer rims have. If you are unsure you can check out the help article I attached that details how to determine bolt pattern. If you do have the 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern the rim and tire part # TA87VR that you referenced would fit and work well for you.

  • Replacement Wheel and Tire Recommendation for 1996 Jayco 2630 Fifth Wheel Trailer
If the wheel of your trailer has a 6 lug bolt pattern that would mean it has a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. If the tire size you have is 205/75-15 you would want the part # TA87VR or if you have a 225/75-15 the correct size is the part # TA57VR. Both of these will fit and work great but what's really nice about them is that they have an 81 MPH speed rating which is much higher than most trailer tires that are only rated for 65 mph.

  • Load Range D Trailer Wheel and Tire Similar to Size 255/75-15
18 inch trailer tires aren't really a standard option so there aren't any ST rated tires for that size wheel. I'd be interested to know if the wheels and tires you have now are actually rated for trailer use or if they were designed for a vehicle instead which isn't recommended. The diameter of your current tire size is 27 inch which means the closest trailer tire and wheel setup that's available would be the size 205/75-15 which in a Load Range D we have the part # TA87VR which is on a...

For a mod style wheel that is 15 inch in diameter and has a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern with the tire size you are wanting of ST205/75-15 mounted we have the part # TA87VR which will work great. This has a higher speed rating at 81 mph and a load capacity of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi. The price is available at the price links down below.

  • Spare Trailer Tire Recommendation for Tire Size ST205/75-15 with 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern
We have a few tire and wheel combinations in your tire size with 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and I would recommend any one of them for you. The only difference between the three options is the style of the wheel. For a Silver Mod Wheel, you can use part # TA87VR For a White Mod Wheel, you can use part # TA27VR For a Vesper White Spoke Wheel, you can use part # TA23MR All three of these combos use the 8-ply Provider radial tires that I have really been impressed with. They have a load capacity...

  • Fancy Wheels for Trailer that Can Be Used with 225/75-16 with 6 Bolt Pattern
You shouldn't use a vehicle wheel on a trailer. The truck rim wasn't designed for the vertical load that trailers have and also the offsets are very different since basically all trailer wheels have a zero offset. Now with that said we do have some pretty "fancy" looking wheels that fit in place of what you have now. For example the part # LH49FR or the part # LHSL311. If you want to see all of the aluminum wheels we carry in the size you need and bolt pattern check out the link I attached...

  • Will Provider ST205/75R15 Tires Fit as a Replacement for G78-15 Tires?
The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D # TA78VR will work for your trailer but will have slightly different dimensions than your current G78-15 tires. These new combinations will have a 7.99 inch width and outer diameter of 27.17 inches. If your trailer has clearances that allow the extra 5/8 inch above your current tire tread, then they will work just fine. These combination wheel and tires are rated for 2,150 lbs at 65 psi...

  • 205/75R15 Trailer Tire w/ 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern to Replace P205/65R15 Tires on Trailer
The "P" on your 205/65R15 tires means that is a passenger tire, and you definitely don't want that on a trailer as they don't have the necessary sidewall stiffness, so replacing them is a really good idea. There aren't 205/65R15 trailer tires but there is a close size, 205/75R15, and what you'll need is the following: - Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 # TA87VR The # TA87VR is the same width as your tire, but the top of the tire will be 13/16"...

  • Highest Capacity Trailer Wheel and Tire Mounted on 16 inch Trailer Wheel
We don't have any Load Range J tires. The highest capacity trailer wheel and tires we have are Taskmaster Wheel and Tire part # TA87VR which is a tire size ST235/85R16 mounted on a rim that has an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern and has a weight capacity of 4,400-lb max load at 110 psi. For the weight you have of 17,821 lbs you'd need to have a triple axle trailer for the capacity of each of the wheels I mentioned.

  • Do I Need To Have Trailer Tires Balanced
The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # TA87VR are just mounted not machine balanced. What some of tire manufacturers do is line up the light spot on the tire with the heavy spot on the wheel. This is a type of balancing but not like how car tires are balanced (with weights on a balancing machine). Trailer tires do not have to be dynamically balanced like passenger car tires do since a trailer tire's primary duty is supporting a vertical load. Steering and cornering concerns...

From what I'm seeing it looks like you ordered the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel # TA87VR which has a 4-1/4" pilot diameter. This is a little smaller than what you were using so you will just need to make sure it can fit over your specific hub. For future reference though, the pilot diameter can be larger for lug-center wheels that secure using lug nuts. If you had a hub-centric setup that used wheel bolts instead of lug nuts you would need to have...

Yes. The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D # TA87VR will give you a little more clearance than the 225s you have, but the internal dimension of the tire will still be slightly more than 6 inches as that is the wheel width so slightly more than 3 inches from center on the inside. Just for reference...the 225s have a section width of 8.78 and the 205s have a section width of 7.99.
