Published 01/11/2019

Question:

Hello, I am replacing a pair of tires/wheels on a trailer. The existing tires are G78-15 mounted on a 16x6.5 wheel. 6x5.5 bolt pattern. The existing tires/wheels are 26inch diameter, 8.5inch width. Should this product, TA78VR fit my needs? Thanks in advance

The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D # TA78VR will work for your trailer but will have slightly different dimensions than your current G78-15 tires. These new combinations will have a 7.99 inch width and outer diameter of 27.17 inches.

If your trailer has clearances that allow the extra 5/8 inch above your current tire tread, then they will work just fine. These combination wheel and tires are rated for 2,150 lbs at 65 psi and speeds up to 81 mph. They also come with a 2 year warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance.
