Features to know about

Made for Long Hauls at Real Highway Speeds: Load Range D with 81-mph Speed Rating

If you’re towing long distances or running loaded in the heat, this setup is built for steady highway performance. The Provider ST225/75R15 radial tire carries a Load Range D, 8-ply rating, and handles up to 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. The M speed rating means it’s tested for sustained speeds up to 81 mph. It’s match mounted and balanced for smooth tracking so you can roll confidently mile after mile.

Built for Everyday Hauling: Double Steel Belts and Polyester Cords

This radial tire is made tough with double steel belts and double polyester cords for long life under load. Nylon tread-firming overlays help prevent tread separation, while the automotive-grade tread channels water away for traction on wet, snowy, or icy pavement. That combination of structure and tread design keeps your trailer steady and predictable when the miles stack up.

Resists Rust and Corrosion: 3-Step White Powder Coat Finish

The steel wheel goes through a zinc phosphate bath, an e-coat primer, and a baked-on white powder coat on the outboard side. The inboard side is lightly e-coated to reduce friction against the hub and resist flaking. It’s a clean finish that holds up in wet or humid environments and keeps your setup looking sharp season after season.

Secure Mounting that Stays Tight: Improved Torque Retention Design

Constant retightening is a hassle you can skip. The beveled, uncoated stud holes and raised center disc improve clamp force retention so the wheel stays tight on the hub. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference when your goal is safe, low-maintenance towing over time.

Ready to Install and Go: Balanced Tire-and-Wheel Assembly

This assembly arrives pre-mounted and balanced using laser alignment to offset the lightest part of the tire with the heaviest part of the wheel. The result is reduced vibration and even wear across thousands of miles. With the steel mod wheel sized at 15" x 6", bolt pattern 5 on 4-1/2", pilot diameter 3.31", and 1/2"-20 bolts, you can bolt it up knowing it’s built to DOT specs and ready for real use right out of the box.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

This is the third order from an outstanding company... first two a hitch and wiring harness for an Audi TT, and now tires for the trailer I haul with it, a modified Cessna Centurion turned CAMPER... these tires are BETTER then I expected, and rated at 80mph...OUTSTANDING!!! THANK YOU etrailer!!!

by:

Called into etrailer and spoke with Katherina. She was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk with. Katherina personally processed my order to make sure it shipped properly (ordered over 4th of July weekend and have a trip scheduled the next weekend). I received personal updates from Katherina when the order shipped and was delivered. The tires/wheels arrived separately boxed in nice packaging that was not dented or damaged. These will be put on tonight and driven roughly 1,000 miles over the next week! I will definitely be shopping through etrailer again!

Photo shows the old wheels/tires mounted on the trailer next to the new wheels/tires.

by:

Great tire wheel set. Saved me the trouble of cleaning up my old rusted wheels and less cost them mounting new tires on old rims.
Shipped in heavy duty box.
Made my old trailer look like new.

by:

I bought these to replace the 15" tires/wheels on my deck over trailer after having trouble finding 15" tires that could withstand modern highway speeds. I was not sure there was room for them, but they did fit and I've been very pleased with them.

by:

Quick shipping. Whole purchase process was quick and easy! Rim came with a few scratches on it, may have to touch it up so it doesn't rust... (possibly due to the fact, they ship it without any box or protection), but since it is for a spare tire, that is not a problem for me. Overall the tire looks great!

by:

I needed a spare tire for my trailer and I wanted the rims to match. I saw this and took a chance. Lo and behold they matched perfect. The tire is even better than the ones that came with the trailer. I also got the mounting bracket/carrier. The bolts that came with the bracket were way to long so I went and got some shorter grade 5 bolts and ta da looks good, works great.

by:

The Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R 15 On Silver Mod - 5/5 is an excellent radial tire/wheel combo for the price! Purchased to use as a spare on my 8' x 12' foot flat bed/utility trailer. This purchased wheel matches my current wheels and once my current ST205/75D (biased) tires wear out, I plan to replace with the radial tire version purchased here via etrailer.com

by:

I needed to replace all four tires on my camper. Etrailer made that easy for me by providing information online as to tire specifications and hub configuration. Pricing with rims included was very competitive even against tire discounters who offered tires only. Mounted tires were shipped (free shipping) promptly and delivered to my door by UPS. Each tire was individually boxed and had the proper inflation. Easily swapped out the tires in my driveway yesterday saving me a lot of rigamarole running back and forth with the camper to have new tires mounted. Picture attached.

by:

I’m a returning customer because of the service and prices. 5 stars

by:

Best price I could find on line or going to different stores + free shipping!! This is a spare for my trailer dolly great to pull my cobra kit car!!

by:

All 5 tires showed up each boxed separately. Free shipping and had them within a week. Their customer service kept me informed as to where in the process my order was. Would definitely order from etrailer.com again.

by:

It's a spare tire. Very round. Came well packaged in a cardboard box.

I'm giving 2 stars because I ordered this tire and rim combo and when it arrived the tire was the correct brand but the rim was incorrect. The rim was supposed to be an ARC brand and powder coated. The rim that arrived was made by Maxion and it was acrylic enamel. etrailer took the tire and rim combo back after I explained the issue. Fast forward a few months I was shopping for the rim and tire combo shown above and it showed instock. I ordered it and when it arrived the same thing happened. What I received was not what was pictured. Again I was ordering the ARC rim and Provider tire and I received the Maxion rim and Provider tire. So I called again and it sounds like the person that received the return just put the tire and rim combo back on the shelf even though I explained in detail to the person on the phone it was mislabeled. I know etrailer has had the ARC rim and Provider tire combo because I've ordered one from them before. I give the customer service kudos for trying to help me but its too bad there was a communication break down between the person answering the phone and the person accepting the returns. The tire and rim pictured is correct to what I was trying to order. What I was trying to order was even in their video describing the product. The ARC rims has a little round gold sticker with the letters ARC.

by:

Purchased this tire/wheel combo as a spare for my utility trailer. I was amazed at the speed of delivery and the perfect match to the wheels I currently have on the trailer. I also purchased a Master #262DAT spare tire carrier lock and Wishbone #A20WB 4-way wire combo from etrailer. com. Unfortunatly, etrailer did not carry a spare tire carrier that suited my needs so I built my own, everything installed perfectly. I am extremely please with the products and customer service I received from etrailer. Will definitely purchase from etrailer again as the need arises.

by:

Quick shipping. Exactly what I ordered

by:

My 2011 trailer came with these tires on it never had a tire problem for 10 years and still have them around as spares. So they will be good on my 2020 trailer.

by:

Exactly what I ordered but even better. They not only mounted and inflated the tire/wheel; they also balanced it. Thank you etrailer !

Good web site and easy to find what is needed. Prompt service and good pricing. Will use again.

by:

Bought for my cargo trailer. Look great. Fast Shipping. Overall good experience.

by:

Super fast shipping, and great packaging. I have heard of companies just labeling and sbipping spare tires. You guys went above and beyond. Also a pleasant online shopping experience.

by:

I have ordered this product on Sunday morning and it was delivered on Thursday. Great service, easy to find your product on the website and fast delivery. This tire has been ordered because i need a spare tire in case of a blowout tire. I hope that i won't have to use it, but now i feel safe now to have a spare tire and can drive around with my 25ft enclosed trailer with my classic in it.

by:

Purchased the 225 radials/wheel combo as an upgrade for the aged 205 biased belted tires on my utility trailer. It was an easy transaction with super fast delivery. Tires look great and was very pleased to see the tires have a recent manufacture date which is important on ST type tires.

  • Recommendation to Replace 205/75R14 Tires on Mallard Camper
Hi Jeff! So the only combo with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern we have that provides that Load Range E rating is the Taskmaster Provider # TA56AR. It doesn't look like that tire is available by itself, either. This would certainly give you more than enough capacity with its 2,830 pound rating, but other than extra peace of mind (which is indeed valuable), I'm not sure you really need to upgrade. The Provider # A225R645WM you were looking at is still going to give you a combined load...

  • Recommended Trailer Tires to Replace 235/75R15 Tires
It looks like the previous owner of the trailer had vehicle tires installed since there are very few trailer tire manufacturers that carry a 235/75R15 size. Even though it might work for a while, trailer tires are always better to use for trailer applications. Trailer tires have a stronger sidewall and can be identified by the letters ST before the tire size. For example, the Taskmaster Provider # A225R645WM has a tire size of ST225/75R15. They are not completely balanced and will need to be taken to a reputable shop to be zeroed out should you choose but the light/heavy spot method will be more than sufficient for most trailers.
