Keeping your suspension equalizer tight to the center hanger is key to stable towing. This bolt gives that connection real strength with its 1" diameter and solid Grade 5 construction. It’s built to hold the equalizer steady in tandem- and triple-axle setups so the suspension can do its job without play or flex.
Suspension hardware takes a beating mile after mile. This Grade 5 bolt brings the right mix of hardness and toughness for the job. It resists stretching and shearing under heavy loads, keeping the equalizer pivot tight so your trailer tracks smooth and stays balanced on rough roads or long hauls.
Getting the right length and thread pitch matters when you want everything to line up cleanly. At 5-7/8" long with 14 threads per inch, this bolt fits like it should in standard center hangers and equalizers. That proper fit means no guesswork—just a snug, solid connection that lasts.
You don’t need special tools or complicated steps here. Slide the bolt through the equalizer and hanger, then secure it with locknut 090636 (sold separately). It’s an easy way to refresh worn hardware and bring your suspension back to tight, reliable operation.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this equalizer suspension bolt. Now this one-inch suspension bolt is used to secure the equalizer to a hangar in tandem and triple Hayes axle applications. This does not include the lock nut, but if you're looking for that, on your screen, I am including the part number for that lock nut. And of course, that's going to secure and place on the bolt.
This is a grade five construction, 14 threads per inch. I mentioned that this was one inch in diameter, so just confirming that with you as you can see. And then the length, you can see we're right at, it'll say on my ruler there, five and 7/8 inches long. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Good Thank
Junk, soft, low grade material. I would not have bought this if I knew it was that soft.
I am replacing the. Hydraulic ram on my 1986 Case 570 LXT tractor that has grease certs, so I needed a way to lubricate the new ram. Your bolts appear to be what I needed and at a reasonable price I will send a picture when done. Not quite a shackle operation.
New bolt fit perfectly on my Take3 48ft Car Hauler. I had to cut the old bolt off due to bolt friction welding itself to the sleeve inside the bushing in the equalizer bar. Bought all new components from E-Trailer and got my trailer back up and running. I used the 6-112 Locknut on this bolt, it it all fit perfectly.
