While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The TireMinder i10 TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.

4 Waterproof Sensors

TireMinder i10 TPMS Waterproof Sensors

This TPMS includes 4 sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. These brass sensors are able to work on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Every 6 seconds, they will check the pressure and temperature again. These durable sensors are waterproof, which means that they can be used on boat trailers and other marine applications.

Simple Setup with Color LCD Monitor

The color LCD monitor will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the monitor battery, sensor battery, and sensor signal. Before you begin setup, make sure the monitor has been charged and the repeater and sensor batteries have been installed.

TireMinder i10 TPMS Waterproof Sensors

Select your RV or trailer configuration or the locations of the tires you want to monitor. Then select one tire location, install a sensor on the corresponding tire on your RV or trailer, and the current PSI will automatically appear on the screen. With the purchase of additional sensors (sold separately), you can monitor up to 20 tires, which is perfect for a fleet. This system can display up to 10 tires at a time, alternating between the tires of the "front" or drivable application and the tires of the "rear" or towable application. Sensors can be added, moved, deleted, or replaced at any point, even after initial installation.

You can set the tire pressure in psi, Bar, and KPa. If you choose psi, you can set the tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi to 199 psi. As for the temperature, you're able to switch between degrees F and degrees C, and the system will alert you if the temperature exceeds 167 degrees F. With the app, you are also able to disconnect and reconnect to different vehicles, RVs, or trailers. This is useful for those who switch between different applications, such as a Class A motorhome who sometimes tows a car. It also can store pressure and temperature information for up to 4 vehicles, or 40 tires.

RHINO Repeater Boosts Signal

TireMinder TPMS RHINO Repeater

This repeater helps improve signal strength and range of the sensors. It has dual Hi-Db antennas that let the booster cut through signal interference coming from wireless electronic devices used in surrounding automobiles. It also ensures that the link from the sensors to the monitor is strong and continuous. The unit has a green light on the front panel to indicate it has power and a blue light that blinks when it transmits a signal.

Easy Installation

TireMinder i10 TPMS Installation

This TPMS system includes 8 batteries, 4 locking nuts, 4 O-rings, zip ties, and a wrench. Once the batteries have been inserted and covers have been re-installed, remove the cap of your valve stems, thread the locking nuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Lastly, secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench.

The weatherproof and dustproof Bluetooth repeater can be installed anywhere on the exterior of your RV or trailer between the rear axle and king pin. The optimal mounting location for a towable camper is toward the front whereas the optimal mounting location for a drivable RV is toward the rear. it is not recommended to install the repeater inside your vehicle, as you might experience signal blockage. Use either the adhesive (included) or hardware (not included) to attach the repeater and wire it to a power supply line. In order to reduce vibration, make sure it's securely mounted. Then connect the black wire to ground, and the red wire to power. Zip-ties are included to fasten the booster and wires to your RV or trailer.

The big problem with these sensors is they do not tell you immediately when you lose connection to the tire. My husband’s wheel fell off his trailer and theses sensors would not alert you to this condition even though it is very rare that this would happen. I called their tech support and discussed it with them and they said they would bring it up in a meeting. Their programmers need to program the sensors to send and alarm if one of the sensors are not responding after a minute or two. It is a descent product with a pretty major programming issue.

by:

Great product but seems to last just past warranty 3rd one that I have bought

by:

Too many "no signal" issues even after replacing batteries in sensors. No confidence that the transmitter is working on my 5th wheel to send the signal to my truck cab.

by:

Excellent product it saved me from blowing a tire. It had a bad valve stem.

by:

I haven't had a chance to use it yet!

Fast delivery

by:

The product arrived on time and in great packaging. The ordering process was easy.

by:

They have worked great, much better than the others I tried first

by:

Product shipped on time and s ema to be working as the video says. Will be hitting the road soon and I hope it works great.

by:

Easy install. Glad I got it. Looking forward to my next trip.

by:

Works great! Easy setup.

by:

As advertised - easy to set up- had a near blowout on my twin axle rig because of air pressure loss on one tire - never again!

Still working as advertised- travelled 6000 miles with my 30ft airstream and having TPMS makes all the difference when thinking safety. Monitors temperature as well so when braking hard going down some of the Colorado mountain passes I get a sense if my brakes wheels are over heating. Glad I made the purchase.

@Duke I love how these not only tell you your PSI but the temperature as well Duke! A lot of blow outs happen due to heat, this gives you the warning that you need when something just isn't quite right. Wow 6K of travel, I have to ask, what was your all time favorite stop in those 6K?

by:

Tireminders are working great, sometimes it is hard to figure out how to it boot up but not too bad. Sensors are holding up well.

by:

What they don’t tell you is you need to mount the transmitter down low on the outside of your trailer, thats fine but i own a fifthwheel and dont want to drill into the fiberglass, the hitch is up high on a fifthwheel

by:

I did a lot of research on this system, the product arrived as described. The instructions were pretty easy to follow but had to go back and make some changes on the set up. Other than that insulation was straightforward. Installed the amplifier in the desired position as instructed. Going to go out on June 18 to test out.
I have used the trailer for several of my cougar fifth wheel purchases and I have to say that their customer service is outstanding! And will continue to use them on all future purchases.

by:

Quality unit that works unlike a cheap copy I bought for half the price that self destructed in six months!

by:

I had high hopes for the Tireminder. However I cannot give a positive evaluation. It's kind of a cheesy Chinese add-on system with cheesy valve pressure sensors that are huge and stick way out past the wheel. Broke two already and subsequently trashed the system after 1 week use. Newer vehicles (Ford) come with provisions to add and integrate tpms via the manufacturer for less than twice the price of the Tireminder. Go that route. Trailer valve stems are the same oem as what came with you truck. A much nicer system is partially installed from the factory.Tire info is right there in your dash screen. Why stick a piece of junk to the dash of a new truck?
I wish had researched that option before wasting money on the Tireminder.

by:

I had an axle hub burn up on my newly purchased used RV on the first trip. I wanted something to give me some peace of mind on the temps of my tires and hubs. This does a good job. It does go through batteries a bit fast. Usually replacing some every season, but it has worked well so far. Definitely keep fresh batteries in your rig!

by:

All set up and ready. Easy install. Working as expected.

I just received it yesterday and will install today, fast and easy shipping. Can't wait to install

It was very easy to install and tracks the actual pressure all the time.

Has been a great purchase. No issues at all. Keeps track of the air pressure all of the time

by:

Used this same brand and model 10 years ago, very impressed then and nothing has changed. Other than screen size and the cost.

by:

Installation was straightforward. The book and video made it an easy job.

by:

This review is more about eTrailer’s description of the product than the actual product. Setup is easy; connect the booster, plug in the receiver, turn the receiver on, select the tire, screw on the TireMinder cap to the valve stem. Repeat. My issue is eTrailer advertises the i10 as being able to display the readouts on your smartphone and compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It cannot do this; you must rely on the included monitor. I wanted this capability to prevent having to attach yet another display to my dash or windshield. If you want the Smartphone capability, get the TireMinder SmartTPMS - Just be aware it is almost twice the cost of the i10. I’ll make do with a little less windshield space and update the review when I get a chance to use the i10 a few times.

by:

Received this TPMS on March 1st, Waited to install after I got our 5th Wheel Toy hauler ready for this summer and purchased new tires. I watched the install video and then did the install in about 25 minutes. I placed the signal Booster in the front compartment and verified that it had power. Next was the install of the batteries and putting the monitors on the metal valve stems. Quick and easy with no installation problems. I am going on a 2500 mile trip in a week do then I can add top this review when I return.

  • Which is Better? Tireminder or TST Tire Pressure Monitor System
They Thomas, I'd be glad to help you pick out which tire pressure monitor system would be better for you. So generally what we have found is that the TST system part # TST-507-RV-4-C is a bit more rugged and will withstand a little more abuse whereas the Tireminder part # TM89FR has the advantage of being a little more user friendly. What that means is that you can see all of the pressure reading and temperatures on the main screen without needing to scroll whereas the TST would require...

  • Can TMPS Booster Be Used When Trailer Does Not Have A Battery?
Hello Caroline, good question. All of the tire pressure monitoring systems we offer include a booster of some kind, and the booster must be used in order to ensure the system will work properly. That said, if your trailer doesn't have a battery, you can install the booster on the truck. You will want to either mount the booster in the bed, or better yet, underneath attached to the frame. This would have the best signal to the TPMS sensors. The TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers...

  • Is It Normal For Trailer Tires To Increase In PSI While Towing
Hey John, It's totally normal for trailer tires to heat up and increase in PSI while towing and that's why the tires have a max cold psi rating listed. The max cold psi rating takes into account how much psi will be gained from the tire heating up so you would not need to lower the psi, doing so would lower the overall weight capacity of the tires and you could end up with a blow out or uneven tire wear. For every 10 degrees the tire heats up you would gain 1 psi and vice versa if it...

  • Can I Use TireMinder i10 Sensors If My Dill Internal TPMS Sensors Have Failed?
Hell Jerry, Thanks for writing in. Yes, you can use the TireMinder i10 TPMS # TM89FR without removing the failed Dill 1506-453 sensors. The TireMinder system uses external sensors that thread onto your valve stems and operate independently of the old internal sensors. Hey Clint, unfortunately all the TPMS we have are closed systems so you'd need to use their hardware and monitor, meaning they wouldn't work with your integrated system. As far as tires go I would definitely keep them the same size. People ask all the time about upgrading to a larger tire and it almost never works out because of clearance.
