Old bulbs can dim or burn out fast, but this light’s single white LED with an amber lens keeps shining strong. The LumenX optics fill the entire 2" lens with an even, solid panel of light that looks like a traditional bulb but runs cooler and draws less power. It’s also regulated to prevent overheating and deliver consistent brightness every time you flip it on.
If your setup ever sees rain, road spray, or full submersion, this light is built for it. The sealed housing and lens are one waterproof unit, keeping out moisture and protecting the internal LED. You won’t have to worry about short circuits or corroded contacts—it stays dry and dependable no matter where you take it.
Seeing and being seen from every angle matters. This PC-rated light works as both a clearance and side marker light when properly mounted, giving bright visibility from the front and side. It doesn’t need a specific top position to meet DOT requirements, so mounting is easier while still staying compliant with FMVSS 108 standards.
For a flush, protected look, this round 2" light mounts in a 2-1/4" hole using the included black PVC grommet. It accepts an AMP-style sealed plug with pigtail for a tight, weatherproof connection to your 12V system. Once it’s in place, it stays locked down and looks factory clean—no awkward gaps or loose wiring.
With no filaments to break and no bulbs to replace, this LED lasts up to 50 times longer than old incandescent lights. The combination of rugged housing, efficient power use (9V–32V DC input), and smart regulation means less maintenance and more time on the road with lights that just keep working.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Peterson LumenX LED Clearance and Side Marker Trailer Light. It's submersible, it's a round amber lens, and believe it or not, it only has one diode there in the center, that's right. So this bright LED, as you can see, can function as a clearance side marker light, however you want to mount it on those two options. It does not require a top mount position to meet the DOT requirements for PC rating.
It's been sealed, it's waterproof. You can take it in water if you need to. And the LumenX optics create a solid panel of light that illuminates the entire lens. And I can show you that better with the lights off. So you can see just how bright and brilliant this LumenX optics is.
And LEDs, as you know, last about 50 times longer on average than incandescent bulbs. You don't have to worry about brittle filaments breaking, bulbs to replace, those kind of things. And the nice amber lens over the top of this gives you that constant light. Now let's go ahead and flip this off, then I can show you the back with the wires and everything. So again, you have the pigtail here included.
And like I said before, it does have a waterproof gasket here built into there, so I wanted to kind of show you that rubber gasket. And then of course it has the grommet included so you can pop that off during your install, pop it back in place, do what you need to to get it installed correctly. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
