Video Transcript for Ultimate Overview of the Tri-Bar LED RV Tail Light

Hello everybody, this is [email protected]. Today we're taking a look at this tri-bar RV passenger side led stop, turn and tail light assembly. Now this is a nice low-profile tail light which will serve three functions. It gives you the red tail light, the red brake light and the Amber turn signal light. The slide is sonically sealed in a waterproof housing and the lens unit is all sonically sealed also. It is submersible, has a nice clear polycarbonate lens over 33 colored LEDs.

Basically there's three rows of LEDs and it's 11 LEDs on each row. So these two rows are going to be red and then this row will be the amber color. Now the LEDs are nice cause they'll make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer. They're more efficient cause of provide brighter light with less power output and of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.

And there is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. Now these light does use durable surface Mount technology, construction of the led circuit board. It'll better withstand shock and vibration, allows for improved heat distribution and thinner construction. It is in a nice weather resistant black plastic housing. And as you can see it has a flush mount design once installed provides a nice, smooth, sleek look.

Now the hardware to install, this is not included. On the very back you can see the hard wire connection points on the back of the light. They will require splicing into your existing wiring. And at the end of this video, I'm going to hook it up, just to show you how the lights work and how bright they are. The slide is DOD department of transportation compliant.

It does meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards and the Canadian motor vehicle safety standard requirements for automotive lighting. Now this one is for the passenger side where the right-hand side of the RV. We do also sell this in the driver's side the left-hand side, and it's usually listed on this product page as a related product. That one is sold separately. Power draw at this, at 12.8 volts for the tail lights or 0.08 amps. For the stop and turn lights is 1.15 amps. Dimension on this, overall height from the very bottom to this very top part is 23 and a quarter inches. The width from this side to this side is nine and a quarter inches wide. And the overall depth of it at the widest point is only about one and three quarter inches deep. So what we're gonna do now is we're gonna go ahead and hook up our lights. So we'll go ahead and take our white wire for our ground. And hook-up that one up. And then we'll take our black wire hook it to our Brown wire for the tail lights. And then the red wire will be for the brake and remaining yellow wire will be for the turn signal. So we're going to do now, I'm going to go ahead and turn on the power and with the power on, you'll be able to see let me go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And there's your two rows of red for your tail lights. And then when you apply your brakes, you'll be able to see here's how your brakes will be. They light up brighter, the two rows of red LEDs. And then when we go to the turn signal, oops, you'll be able to see what the turn signal. There's your amber LEDs. It'll light up and give you your amber turn signal. So we'll go ahead and turn off our power turn back on our overhead lights, but that should do it for the review on the tri-bar RV passenger side, led stop turn and tail light assembly..
