You don’t need to cut big holes or worry about complicated mounting. This light sits flat against the surface using its built-in flange—no recess required. The base measures 2-11/16" with mounting holes spaced 2-5/8" apart center to center, and the overall diameter is 3-1/2". It gives you a clean fit that looks factory without extra steps or parts.
Moisture in connections can ruin even the best lights, but this setup uses a weathertight connection that seals out water where wires meet. It accepts a standard 2-pin PL-10 plug (sold separately) for a snug fit that helps keep things dry and working properly over time.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two and a half inch round LED clearance side marker light. This sonically sealed waterproof LED light functions as a marker or a clearances light for your trailer. It is a LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.Here on the back side it uses a unique connection point, this is called a weather tight connection.
The wiring harness that goes with this light or that works with this light is not included. It is sold separately and available at etrailer.com and it looks just like this right here. So it's a two wire design. You got your ground wire and your power wire and then it's got the head with the prongs that match up perfectly with the connection points on the back of the light.When it comes to mounting, it's a flange mount design. Mounting hardware not included, but it does have the flange that goes around.
Then you will need a cut out, so it's a recessed and flange mount design. We're looking at a durable black base with a red polycarbonate lens. It's very strong and durable. It is PC rated and it's SAE and department of transportation compliant.Taking a look at the measurements real quick starting with the overall diameter. So that's measuring edge to edge going straight across the unit.
That gives us a measurement of three and a half inches. The base, so this portion here, gives us a diameter measurement of two and 11/16ths of an inch, so you need to make sure that the cutout for this to sit in so that way it's flush is at least that measurement. Then the lens gives us a diameter of two and a half inches.We're gonna go and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. So I just need to match up the connection points.
Turn off the overhead lights.You can see here that the light sends out a very bright consistent signal. Again, this is a light that functions as a clearance and side marker light for your trailer. Really nice design. Multiple diodes, or multiple LEDs, so the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. I replaced the original amber bulb side marker lights with these etrailer LED multifunctional lights on my RV and they work great. The original lights didn't blink when marking turns and I wanted drivers to have a better indication when I wanted to change lanes. I had to do some minor rewiring, but I'm pleased with the outcome.

Had trouble tracking these specific lights down online. I have bought a few things from etrailer before and they always deliver exactly as advertised. These are a direct replacement for the lights that I had which seemed impossible to find!
The light works excellent. Unfortunately after I took the old one off I realized that the original was never wired up correctly from the factory lol. New light is much brighter so I might go ahead and replace the other two. Received very quickly.
