Specs:
The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Empire Faucets RV shower valve with vacuum breaker. This RV shower valve with dual teacup style handle design is gonna let you add a handheld shower set to complete your shower setup. The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set that's sold separately to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device.
It's a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply. The vacuum breaker outer diameter is 13/16 of an inch. It has a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute. The washerless cartridges reduce friction and daily wear for long-lasting durability. And this features a durable sink and plastic construction with one of my favorite finishes of brushed nickel finish.
And of course, this is a wall mount, two-hole installation with the included deck plate. And so, let me go ahead and just pop this on here real quick. And then the hardware is also included and all you have to do is hand-tighten this. Wanna make sure that you don't overtighten this. So, this is going to be a very easy installation as you can see.
The inlet shanks do have the standard male NPSM connections. And the inlet shank's outer diameter is half an inch. Actually, let me take that back. The inner diameter is half an inch as you can see right there. And the outer diameter is 13/16 of an inch.
The distance between the inlet shanks, center to center, we are sitting right at four inches. And then the total length of those shanks are gonna be two inches long. And, of course, that's including the length that is inside of the deck plate and the washer. So overall, that's gonna be two inches long. Speaking of dimensions, let me give you some other dimensions that are gonna, I believe, prove helpful for you. Looking at the overall length and the longest points are going to be the tips of these teacup style handles, we're sitting right at about 9 5/8 inches overall in the length. And then looking at the width overall, we are sitting right at about 2 15/16 inches wide. And again, that's including our valve here. And then looking at the distance, the overall depth rather, this is gonna be kind of a trickier one to show you but what I want to do is measure the overall depth from where this is going to be mounted. So, from the wall all the way to how far these handles stick out. So, probably the best way is gonna be measuring this way. So, let me line that up. And all the way to the end of those handles, taking into consideration that they angle out a little bit, I'm gonna say the overall depth is about 3 3/4 inches. So, those are the overall dimensions. And then looking at just the base dimensions, the longest point on just the base itself, let me move this handle up just so you can see that, we are sitting right at six inches long on just that base. And then again, looking at just the base, two inches wide. And then the base itself is about an inch deep. Now, this does require tile and tub caulk and that is not included. This is ADA compliant and it has a limited lifetime warranty. And again, this does not include a handheld shower. But if you are looking for one, let me recommend the Empire Faucets RV handheld shower with slide bar. It has two functions. And that is also a brushed nickel finish so it's going to match this perfectly. On your screen, I am including our item number to that handheld shower set. Just take the item number, put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and it'll take you to that handheld shower set. I recommend taking a look at that if you are in need of that as well. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

This facet with 2 levers corrected both issues and looks great, and was an easy install - “plug and play”. As usual, etrailer made the decision to purchase this model easy with their informative write up. GO ETRAILER!
Really wasn't what I was expecting of the product.
