Old incandescent lights can dim over time and draw more power than they should. This 2" round amber LED light uses 9 diodes behind a Miro-Flex faceted reflector, pushing out a bright, even glow while using just 0.047 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than standard bulbs, so you won’t be dealing with broken filaments or frequent replacements. This light is made for an easy recessed mount using grommet A54GB (sold separately). It fits a 2-5/16" diameter hole and accepts an industry-standard 2-prong plug like the A46PB pigtail. Once in place, it sits flush for a clean look that won’t snag or stick out awkwardly. With only two wires to connect—one for power and one for ground—it’s quick to wire up and ready to go.
Visibility from the right angles makes a big difference on the road. This P2-rated light shines a 45-degree beam to each side of centerline, giving you 90 degrees of coverage straight ahead. That means it works perfectly as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted, making sure your trailer stays visible without blinding other drivers.

I just installed 2 of these on my car trailer, replacing older incandescent lights. These are so much brighter! Great fit, easy to install. I haven’t had a chance to get them wet yet, but I’m sure they will hold up.

I bought a set last year form another distributor and were to be watertight. The ones I bought from etrailer states waterproof and they are going on a boat trailer. We will see how well they work once I launch the boat and see if any water penetrated the inside of the light.
My led light failed within 1 year. etrailer is probably the only retailer that requires me to pay ship back a defective part. I have found that Optronix lights can be purchased on [online store] Shipping is faster and free. Returns? No problem.
Look great over the factory bulbs. Much brighter.

These lights are fantastic. I discovered that mice had damaged the front marker lights on my equipment trailer so I decided to replace them with this style light. They are much brighter than my original equipment lights and are very easy to wire and install using the 2" rubber grommets. They improve the look and visability of my trailer so much that I plan on replacing the rest of my lights with this style as well.

I really enjoy having the trailer. We took a six day trip back in may of this year. It was great having all that room. We've also taken it on two or three day rides just in case we saw something at a craft shop or even a yard sale. Lol Each trip included a picnic lunch. I did modify the lighting on the trailer. I ride a 2014 Goldwing, and after the two, 5 to 4 wiring adapters failed I added two 3" LED turn signals near the top of the box. See photo. I may even add a third member brake/tail light to the lid rack bracket.

These lights are just plug and play and they look great on any trailer! I bought 4, 2 on the other side of my trailer in the same spots.

After a year these lights are still fantastic, just as bright as the day I installed them. No sign of aging or weathering despite this trailer being stored outside.
