This 2" beehive-style light uses eight LEDs that put out a bright amber glow with very little power draw—just 0.061 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs and don’t have fragile filaments that can break or burn out. It’s a dependable, low-maintenance upgrade that gives you crisp, efficient light without worrying about bulb replacements.
If your trailer ever hits the water or runs through heavy rain, this light is built to keep working. The polycarbonate housing and lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof unit, making it fully submersible. That tight seal keeps out moisture that can corrode circuits or kill LEDs, so you can trust it for years of service in wet or harsh conditions.
With its compact beehive shape and 2" diameter, this light mounts cleanly using a grommet for either flush or recessed installation. It accepts an industry-standard 2-prong plug for quick connection to your existing wiring. The durable polycarbonate housing resists impact and wear, keeping the light secure and looking good even after repeated use.
This P2-rated light produces a 45-degree beam to each side of center for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. That makes it ideal as either a clearance light or a side marker light when properly mounted. Whether you’re marking the corners of a trailer or adding visibility along the sides, it provides focused illumination exactly where it’s needed.

Today we're going to be installing the Optronics two inch beehive style LED trailer clearance side marker light, part number MCL21AB. The trailer light here on our trailer is broken, is damaged, so what we'll need to do is we'll need to go and remove that. We'll twist this out. Pull it from its location, then we can undo the plug here at the back of the light. You see that it has the industry standard two-pronged plug. Just snaps into place. We'll go and fit our light back under the mold and all we have to do to secure it is twist it and it's going to hold in place. We got both of our lights replaced on this trailer. We got our 12 volt power supply hooked up, so we're going to hit our power switch.
As you can see, both of our lights are working properly. Some accessories that may be helpful for your installation are going to be the two inch round grommet. It is a flush mount grommet with an open back, sold separately with part number A54GB. A two wire pigtail for seal trailer clearance side marker lights, six inches long, sold separately with part number A46PB. You can find both of those here on our website at etrailer.com. That's going to complete today's installation of the Optronics beehive LED trailer clearance side marker light, part number MCL21AB. .

They were the exact replacement (I had to reorder to get the correct size, my fault).
Had flush mount clearance lights on back of my trailer and couldn’t see where the back of trailer was at night, put these on and no problem seeing where the end of the trailer is now. They fit as they should and brightness is perfect.
Perfect fit a is better than the origin al.
Good service, great products, good product life! Very pleased with everything I bought from you. Best prices too!
Purchased product as described with fair price and quick shipping
Staff like these new lights because they are easier to see trailer at night when backing up.
Good looking marker lights for my Cardinal travel trailer. With the 2" grommet this will look wonderful.
Good product at a good price. Replaced my regular lights with LED lights from etrailer.com. Much brighter with less power draw. happy with purchase.
These really look great!
CAUTION: Nowhere in the description does it indicate that these come with NO WAY of mounting them. If you don't have an existing mounting bracket and pigtail (as was my case) they arrive and then you realize you can't get your project done because you lack parts.
Get the parts you need, and these are great!
Repeat customer here and always satisfied with product quality, prices and fast shipping. The side marker lights I ordered were exact fit for my snowmobile trailer. Thanks again!
these are NOT bright at all you cannot see the light is on unless you're coming at it from the full front on Ie. Facing it. the Leds don't light up the full amber lens. waste of my money
Just what we ordered thank you
While stripping paint from my 1948 trailer the stripping product damaged the running lights on the trailer. The new light quickly arrived from etrailer and were easily adapted to my vintage trailer. Here's a picture of the trailer with the new lights toward the front. Thanks!

This light is DOT compliant however it is a P2 rated light which means that it produces 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.
