Hi Dan, for your 3,500 lb A frame trailer, my suggestion is the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack with Tongue Weight Scale part # e28KV that you are looking at. With a 3,500 lb weight capacity, it gives you plenty of lifting capability for your trailer's tongue weight and makes hitching and setup much easier with push button operation through your vehicle’s 7 way connection.
I especially like the included tongue weight scale, since you can check your tongue weight as you load, move things around if needed, and check it again without having to set up a separate scale. It also has a drop leg for extra reach, weather protective finishes and covers, an LED work light, and a manual backup handle. It’s a solid option if you want to avoid fighting with a hand crank when you’re hooking up.
What do you use the trailer for most, camping, hauling toys, or work projects?
