Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement oil cap kit for the 9000 pound and 10,000 pound Dexter axles. This is a Dexter 21-88 oil cap. It's designed to fit the 9,000 pound, 10,000 pound general duty Dexter axles manufactured after July of 2009.The cap is a clear polycarbonate construction. Does include everything shown here. The oil cap itself, the o-ring to seal, and then the plug right here, the rubber plug. Specs on this, overall diameter edge to edge it's going to be right at three.89 inches.
The threaded portion diameter is going to be right at three.47 inches. Inside diameter on it is three.16 inches. And then overall height on it, the very top is two.25 inches.But that should do it for the review on the replacement oil cap kit for the 9,000 pound and 10,000 pound Dexter axles.

Oil caps are working great. The recommendation to slightly loosen them over the winter months to prevent the cap from cracking is working also.
Sheila was the best! She knows her stuff and got me all the right part numbers and items for a 10,000# double axle brake rebuild. Brakes, bearings, races, seals etc. Shipping was quick and the couple B/O items shipped a few days later as she indicated. Now all I have to do it is put it all back together.

Oh, I am sorry that this oil cap is not a fit for you. This cap replaced the Dexter 21-88 oil cap. It works with Dexter 9 and 10K axles that were made after July of 2009. To find the oil cap that you need you will want to measure the outer diameter of your original oil cap. Or if the old cap is not available you can measure the hub bore to get the measurement. If you can provide that measurement then I can find the cap that you need. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
