Today we're going to take a look at the oil cap kit for the 10,000 and 12,000 pound axles. This is designed to fit 10,000, 12,000 pound Hayes and Al-KO axles. It's a clear polycarbonate cap that'll allow you to see the oil level in your hub. Comes with this nice rubber, water tight O-ring seal. Has a rubber plug that we have installed both items, the rubber plug installed right in the center here that you can actually pull that plug out to fill the hub with oil. A few dimensions on this, one the thread portion that threads into the hub, the overall diameter on that is going to be right at 3 and 3/4 inches.
The socket size, it does require either a 2 and 1/4 inch socket or wrench for installation, and this part does come with all the pieces shown here. It comes with the polycarbonate cap, the rubber O-ring, and the rubber plug. That should do it for the review on the oil cap kit for 10,000 and 12,000 pound axles.
