Type/Size of Hardware Needed to Install Side Door Bar Lock Assembly #305736

Question:

Is it possible to provide the size/type bolts or screws needed to install this bar lock. Ive searched all over online and cannot seem to find any information. Im looking to install it on the side door of my trailer but I have limited experience with screw/bolt sizes etc. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Although there are no hardware kits available to install the Polar Lock Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly # 305736 we have found that you can use 5/16 inch carriage bolts along with some nuts and washers that are compatible with the bolts. All of which can be acquired at your local hardware store and should be bought with either a galvanized finish or stainless steel.
