The MaxxAir II RV Roof Vent # MA76JR comes with all the needed hardware for installation. To install the cover you first need to position the cover in place and mark where the mounting brackets are located. Drill 3/16 inch holes in the marked positions and attach the brackets with the included screws. Close the cover, install the 4 snap lock pins, and push the snap lock pins down into the lock position and you're all set!

The cover does not allow the vent to open all the way. I have the max air fan. Is there an adjustment that has to be made for the cover to open completely with the max air II cover?

That's not too uncommon - depending on the model vent the lid may not be able to open all the way beneath the cover. There aren't any adjustments you can make to change this. The good news though is that MaxxAir states that as long as the lid is opened at least 50 percent or more, the vent will still achieve max airflow.
