Question:
Was looking at the MaxxairMA00-05100K but it says not recommended above a shower. Which one is good for over a shower? Also which Maxxair lets in more light? Seems the white would, but it almost looks painted like it wont let in light. I did see a picture of the smoke one that let some light in.

Since you are needing a vent that sits above your shower you need one that doesn't have power. Roof vents that use electricity, like the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-05100K, aren't built to resist the water that would be filtering through if installed above a shower.
Because of this I recommend installing the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 which operates manually and fits a standard 14" x 14" vent opening. If you would like to leave the vent open when it is raining then you will also need to install the MaxxAir II RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA76JR.
The white colors will generally let in more light as the darker colors act like sunglasses.
I have attached review videos for both parts that you can check out.
