Are Any RV Roof Vent Covers Over 11" Tall

Are there any vent covers over 11inch high?

Expert Reply:

RV roof vent covers throughout the industry max out at 10-1/4" tall so you'd be limited to this height. Manufacturers know that this won't allow for the vent lid to fully open but have stated that as long as the lid is opened at least 50% there will be no issues with performance. I recommend matching the cover to the brand of vent you have to make installation easier.

For MaxxAir I recommend the following:

Black # MA86JR
Smoke # MA26JR
White # MA76JR

For Dometic/Fan-Tastic Vent I recommend the following:

White # FVU1500WH

If the vent lid doesn't fully open do I need to adjust the lid to prevent damage? For a MaxxFan Plus 4500K how do I adjust the openning amount?

@John No you do not. It will only partially open and it will be totally fine.
