Our order was delivered yesterday 9/29/26 just like Jeremy notified us. This has been my first experience using E-trailer, and I have everything good to say about my experience, from the pr0fessionalism on the phone to prompt follow up as far as where my order was in the process. The trailer coupler fit just perfectly and I suspect will work well for a long time. Thank you for a pleasant experience. Ken Carter
by:
The coupler hitch installed fine. I would like to have had instructions on installing the hitch such as bolt sizes, type and installation steps.
by:
Exactly what I was looking for and super easy installation
by:
E trailers is easily in my top three of all organizations I have ever dealt with online or in person. Top shelf people and products.

I think you should stock more US made products. You are contributing to the continuing development of Chana and its military.

I have not installed it yet but it looks like a very good quality coupler. the construction is very sturdy, the thickness of the main stamping looks like 11 ga (1/8") that is much thicker then many couplers I have seen. the finish is smooth, and I did not find any burs of sharp edges anywhere. the latching mechanism worked smoothly, and appeared to lock securely. when opened the latching plate that closes against the trailer ball moved well away, this should help during coupling and uncoupling. I have had hitches in the past that were hard to put on because the latching plate would catch on the ball and get pushed up into the receiver, you would have to crank the trailer back up, preposition truck or trailer, and try again, what a pain. and this eventually causes damage to the latch. I anticipate good results.
I will try to give a follow up review after I install and use it a few times.

Works perfectly!

by:
I put the coupler on the tongue of a garden type trailer. I have a ball on the back of my riding lawn mower for moving a kayak trailer and wanted to use the trailer with the lawn mover. It works great as expected.
by:
I bought the channel tongue trailer coupler because it was cheaper than the repair kit. I watch the video several times on how to take it apart and put it together. It worked perfectly on the old hitch. Good thing too because I didn’t measure the channel and got a 3” when I needed a 2-1/2”. So I have a spare 3” channel hitch just in case.
Thanks for the video. I got it right.
by:
This trailer coupler was as good or better quality if design, features, and materials as the big stores, and is priced 25%-50% less. I highly recommend it.

The coupler is now a year old and shows no signs of rust or corrosion, still very pleased with the service and the product!

by:
Product was (an is) perfect. Shipping was on time. One or two swipes with a file on the tongue and it was ready to weld. Great service on the order. (pix may or ma not follow. As trailer is loaded and buried in a garage....) DN

Fast shipping and excellent product at a reasonable price.

this was the 3rd or 4th time I've gone back to etrailer.com to get something I couldn't find locally. They have always had what I needed. Inexpensive and fast delivery. they are my 1st go to when looking for anything towing related. and again, the coupler I bought is well built and fits perfectly.

I needed to restore my 20 year old boat trailer that I keep my 65 year old skiff on. Everything I needed was in stock and arrived at my house in a few days with free shipping. Highest quality merchandise from a great company.
by:
Price was good. A little disappointed that safety pin was not included with hitch.
Had to re-use old chain and pin which meant drilling of hitch to attach.
by:
Haven't had the opportunity to use all the parts ordered(doing 2 trailers at one time)but so far I am very pleased not only with the quality of the parts but also the timely fashion in which I received them. Thank you and I will be ordering again.
by:
easy ordering and fast shipping. product was exactly as described and worked great. was really glad to see no rust on product which helped the welding process. thank you
by:
Needed a better hitch for the lawn mower, this is exactly what I was looking for. No more trailer pin coming off.

  • Availability of Repair Kit for Fulton Trailer Coupler 11-300
Hey David, the Fulton 11-300 1-7/8" coupler was actually discontinued and, according to my contact at Fulton, repair kits are no longer available. The only solution is to replace the coupler. I recommend using the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-2003-Z. This fits a 1-7/8" ball, a 3" channel tongue, and has the same 2,000 lb capacity.

  • Recommended 1-7/8" Ball Coupler for 3" Tongue on 1973 O'Day Daysailor
Hey Keith, We have exactly what you're looking for with the etrailer # CT-2003-Z. This is a standard coupler that fits a 1-7/8" ball and mounts to a 3" tongue like you mentioned. This is rated for 2,000lbs, so make sure you're trailer is under that. If you need something rated for more, then the Multi Fit Coupler # T2343400 also fits a 1-7/8" coupler and 3" tongue, but has an increased 5,000lb capacity. What all have you done to your O'day?

  • Options For Straight Tongue Channel Coupler For 1-7/8" Hitch Ball
Hello Burris, We have straight tongue channel couplers for a 1-7/8" hitch ball, though none with bolt holes that are 5" apart. Each of the couplers has holes 2-1/4" apart, so you can still use them if you're drill new holes. I know it's not what you asked for but I at least wanted to give you the option, and if you're okay with that, the right one will depend on the width of your trailer tongue. - 2" Tongue: Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-2001-Z - 2-1/2" Tongue: Channel Tongue Trailer...

  • Trailer Coupler Recommended for Trailer With 2-5/8 Inch Round Tube Tongue
I don't have an option that would bolt or weld right up to your 2-3/8 inch diameter pipe, but if you're handy we have an option or two that could work for you with a little welding and fabrication work. We do have a round tube tongue coupler that could work, but it's for a 2 inch trailer ball so you'd need to replace your existing 1-7/8 inch ball with a 2 inch. I'd recommend using the # BD028383 which is designed for a 3-1/2 inch pipe, so you'd need to shim the 2-3/8 inch pipe you have...

  • Looking for Trailer Coupler for 3 Inch Channel Tongue With 2-1/2 Inch Mounting Hole Spacing
The typical center to center hole distance is around 3 inches, much like the hole spacing of the # F222000301 Fulton coupler you'd looked at. If you're speaking of the distance between the inner edges of the holes, and not the center to center spacing, the holes have a gap of about 2-1/2 inches between them. If you don't mind going with a 2 inch ball, this might be a good choice for you. If you'd prefer to stay with a 1-7/8 inch ball, you could use the etrailer brand # CT-2003-Z, but...

  • Replacement Towbar, Coupler, and Caster Wheel Availability for an LCI-851T Trailer
I found a parts list online but it looks like the only thing we carry that would fit your LCI-851T trailer is a replacement coupler. We have 1-7/8" hitch ball couplers that fit a 2" channel # CT-2001-Z, 2-1/2" channel # CT-2002-Z, and a 3" channel # CT-2003-Z depending on the size of the towbar. We don't have any towbar (I-beams) or caster wheels for your trailer though so if this is an older trailer you may consider investing in a new trailer that you can easily find replacement parts for.

  • What Is Needed to Install Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - Trigger Latch - Zinc - 1-7/8" Ball
The Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler part # CT-2003-Z looks to be an excellent replacement for your trailer coupler based on the info and photo you have provided. It doesn't come with hardware and I don't recommend reusing the existing so a trip to your local hardware store would finish up your install. I recommend 1/2"-13 x 4" Grade 5. The other thing I would add but is not required is a lock for security, the etrailer Trailer Coupler Latch Lock part # e98889.

The only Fulton coupler repair kits we carry are the # F670801 and # F640801 which are for much heavier duty couplers. Due to the age of your trailer you will most likely have to replace your coupler unless you can find the parts from a used coupler. I do see we have a few options depending on the width of the pole tongue on your trailer. We have a 2" # CT-2001-Z, 2-1/2" # CT-2002-Z or 3" # CT-2003-Z option. From center to center, the distance between the two side bolt holes on # CT-2003-Z is 2-1/4". On # DL13728 the distance is 3".
