Hey Keith,
We have exactly what you're looking for with the etrailer # CT-2003-Z. This is a standard coupler that fits a 1-7/8" ball and mounts to a 3" tongue like you mentioned. This is rated for 2,000lbs, so make sure you're trailer is under that.
If you need something rated for more, then the Multi Fit Coupler # T2343400 also fits a 1-7/8" coupler and 3" tongue, but has an increased 5,000lb capacity.
What all have you done to your O'day?

I ended up buying four CURT 25472 QuickPin No-Latch Trailer Coupler for 2-Inch Hitch Ball, 3-in Channel, 3,500 lbs, and I am very happy with then. I had to move the ball closer the tractor's frame because of the heavy tongue weight of the trailer under heavy load; the lever on the CT-2003-Z interfered with the fender and would not fit. I also upgraded to a 2" coupler for standardization across all 4 trailers. e-trailer is a great company to do business with.
