Replacement cover slides over Bearing Buddy to keep grease contained and off of your tires and wheels.
Features:
To prevent overfilling, Bearing Buddies have an automatic pressure relief feature that allows the grease to come out through the Bearing Buddy instead of out the grease seal on the back of the hub. The bra over the Bearing Buddy contains the grease, keeping if off of the trailer tires and wheels.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement bearing buddy bras, model 17B. These replacement covers slide over your bearing buddy to keep grease contained and off of your tires and wheels. The vinyl covers fit over the bearing buddy bearing protectors. These particular covers are going to fit models 1781, 1781SS, 1810, and 1810SS. The outer diameter of the vinyl cover is going to be 2". It does come in a 2-pack.
When you're ready to install, you want to be sure to clean out dirt and excess grease from the bearing buddy. Then all you have to do is simply press the cover over the bearing buddy. Then just push it all the way down until it fully seats. That's really all there is to it. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement bearing buddy bras, model 17B..

The Original Bearing Buddy caps lasted 3 times longer than the knock-off caps I had been using.

I measured 2" OD on trailer and the Bearing Buddy Bras fitted nice and tight and look great. It was a tight fit and I am not sure I ordered the correct size but they are nice and snug.

The bearing buddy product is great- it arrived in a well sealed package no damage. As soon as I got them i put them right on my boat trailer as soon as I received them.

What can I say? They cover my bearing buddies and stay secure. Before these I would have to remove my camper wheels because there was a plastic hub that inserted from inside the wheel to cover my bearing buddies. Now I have access anytime I feel the need to add some grease.
The aging dual axle boat trailer I bought had Bearing Buddy brand caps on one side and some other type on the other. One of the "others" is split and the second looked as it might not last long. Other brand replacements did not seem look and feel as durable as Bearing Buddy so I ordered two. Packaged they had a disk insert to maintain shape, they fit snugly, and seem durable.

I received my order on time. They fit my trailer wheels perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase.
These fit my stainless steel bearing buddies perfectly. The trick is to measure the diameter of the bearing buddy and make sure you are ordering caps made for this diameter. This is important because stainless steel bearing buddies come in two, slightly different diameters.
Gotta have the real bearing buddy caps/ bras. The cheap knockoffs always end up flying off. These have been dunked in and out of some nasty boat launches, hundreds of miles on gravel roads and they’re still on.
The dust covers looked to small so I thought that I had ordered the wrong size. However, I tried one and it is a very tight fit, which is probably a good thing for a boat trailer to keep water out of the hubs. Hope I can get them off to grease the bearings.
It was a real problem with a incorrect part shipment from etrailer , but after some two weeks of emails I received the correct part.

Rebuilt my boat trailer using etrailer parts everything I required was readily available and carpet roll sized perfectly for 3 side 2by6
I have used these on all my trailers and ordered these for a new to me PWC double trailer. While I never use bearing buddy's, their dust covers over the metal dust cap/rubber grease cover plug is just another layer of defense in keeping water and contaminates out of your bearings and hubs. And they look nice. Cheaper here than anywhere and shipped fast!
These units come with the bra covers included, and they installed easily. I used a block of tropical hard wood to protect it, then I hit it on with a small sledge hammer. This is one of those quick easy jobs you can do that will have long-term implications for the useful life of your trailer. They're of good quality, and I'm proud to have it on my rig. I packed them with a waterproof green grease, because of the climate where I live. Initially I tried to order from Amazon, but they didn't ship to Hawaii, which is plain awful. Thankfully eTrailer shipped ultra-fast and for a reasonable price. Will be returning here from now on for trailer stuff.
The Bearing Buddy bra doe a great job of keeping the grease from the hub from the trailer wheels.
