Today we're going to review part #yr4174-4. This is the Yates bow roller for boat trailers. This bow roller is constructed of a heavy duty rubber material. It is made in the USA. This will replace the worn out bow roller on your boat trailer. This will help in the loading and unloading of the boat and it will support the front of the boat as it sits on the trailer.
This will also help absorb the road shock while the boat is being towed. Now we are going to do a few measurements on this. The length is 3 and 7/8 inches. The diameter is 3 and a half inches. This bow roller is designed to fit on a 4 inch wide bracket that has a half inch diameter shaft.
And that should do it for part #yr4174-4.

This bow roller fit perfect on my shorelander trailer winch. They call it a 4 inch wide roller and was wondering if it would fit but when I received it I measured and it was 3-3/4 inches wide and fit perfect. It only took about 4-5 days to receive it. Great place to order parts.
Fits perfectly on my 1985 EZ loader boat trailer and matched the old worn out bow rollers.

Exactly what I was looking for at a fair price, fast shipping!!
Works just fine! Just can't tighten the bolt as tight as humanly possible or it won't allow the roller to turn. Use a nylon nut and/or put a tack weld on the nut and you're good to go.
Exact replacement, less than 5 minutes ro replace. Took more time to get the tools and put them away.
As expected. Nice quality.
My trailer setup has this as middle roller with end cap rollers. One end cap started to fail after 20 years. This roller would have lasted another 10 years from how it looked but I replaced all 3 regardless. Great price, fast shipping. And as bulletproof of a setup as anyone could ask for.
