  • 2-1/2 Inch Long
  • Galvanized Steel
  • CE Smith

This bolster bracket supports your boat trailer's bunk. Constructed of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, it helps you to properly align your bunk boards and provides years of reliable use.

Features:

  • Bolster bracket mounts to your pontoon boat trailer's frame or crossmembers and allows you to mount 2 bunk boards
    • Stabilizes bunk boards when 2 brackets are used (other bracket sold separately)
    • Does not include mounting hardware
  • 3/8" Thick, galvanized steel construction is sturdy and resists corrosion
  • Made in USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 1 bracket
  • Base length: 2-1/2"
  • Arm length (each): 8-1/8"
  • Diameter of mounting holes (each): 7/16"

This bracket holds two bunk boards angled toward each other to provide support for one of the boat's pontoons. On both the right and left sides of the trailer, one bracket is mounted in the front and another in the rear. Carpeted bunk boards are run from front to back.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

I borrowed the idea to use this trailer bracket to mount bunks for a pontoon boat on a usedboat lift I recently purchased. They work just fine, and were less expensive than OEM pontoon system for the lift.

by:

I liked the brackets I bought for my pontoon they fit the pontoon perfect made it easier to load the pontoon boat the pontoon sits down on the brackets better then the ones that was on my pontoon

by:

Excellent bracket for my pontoon trailer build.

by:

very sturdy - excellent service, they got here quickly and on time

by:

My pontoon boat trailer had wornout bunk brackets and these replacements fit perfect and solved the problem better than original implementation.

After a year the bunk brackets are performing wekk.

by:

The old brackets have fatigued and I will reinforce these new ones before installation. My boat may be a tad heavy for these brackets. I am very pleased with the price , availability, and quick delivery of these products. I have used E-Trailer before and have experienced good products and delivery.

Working well

by:

Product looks stronger than expected, should work good. Unfortunately these parts which could have been shipped in a box not much larger than a shoe box were shipped in a box the size a door to an oven could fit in with no wrap or fill, as a result they are pretty dinged up and the galvanized coating gone where all the gouges are so I expect these to rust and look bad pretty quickly. 4 star product (some irregular holes and bends), 1 star logistics(also shipped after the date it said they would arrive), 3 star overall...

Thank you for reaching back out to us and letting us know. I have sent your information along to our customer service team.

Excellent product. Converted an old $400 tandem axel boat trailer to a pontoon trailer using 2 8' pallet rack uprights, 4 16' 2x6s, bunk carpet and 8 of these. Trailer is overkill or a 20' pontoon, but isn't that what you want.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I ORDERED FROM ETRAILER .COM I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH YOUR PRODUCTS AND YOUR PROMPT ATTENTION TO MY ORDER . I BUILD PONTOON TRAILERS FOR FRIENDS & PEOPLE WHO WANT A PONTOON BOAT TRAILER BUT CANNOT AFFORD $2500 OR MORE . YOUR BUNK BRACKETS WORK FINE, I HATE TO AD YOUR PRICE TO THE FINAL COST OF THE TRAILER AS IT TAKES AWAY FROM MY SMALL PROFIT SO I ABSORB IT . I CAN MAKE THEM MYSELF BUT WHEN I HAVE SOMEONE WAITING I BUY YOUR QUALITY PRODUCT. IF I HAD STANDING ORDERS FOR TRAILERS I COULD MAYBE BUY A QUANTITY AND GET A DISCOUNT , BUT I NEVER KNOW HOW MANY I WOULD NEED AS I BUILD ONLY A FEW A YEAR (4or5) . I AGAIN THANK YOUR FOR PRODUCTS & PROMPT SERVICE

by:

All was as advertised.
A great add
on to your site could be a form to enter information for what you want to do, some info on your trailer and recommended products you will need to complete your project.
For instance:
Are your bunks connected to your frame or a cross member? Mine was a cross member so I could only use the product I ordered. The other bunk connector could not be used on that type of set up.
Also you could ask: what are the measurements of your beam where you are going to connect your bunk connector? Mine was 2"X3". Then you could say what u-bolts and straps are needed.

by:

I bought brackets to convert a boat trailer to a pontoon boat trailer. The brackets seemed sturdy enough, but the rear ones bent and then broke, doing $7k damage to my pontoon boat. Needless to say, I am not very happy with you.

by:

Received our pontoon trailer bunk brackets on time, and our handyman son installed them today. We’re having to modify a 5 x 10 foot utility trailer to tote our 10 foot mini-pontoon boat. The brackets worked perfectly with the 10-foot 2 by fours that now only need to be wrapped in carpet material. Very pleased with our purchase.

by:

had no problems, items came very quickly and worked out perfect for my boat trailer will use them for my boating needs

by:

by:

I was surprised the brackets were delivered last night. It was great, I wanted to finish work on my trailer this weekend and now I can! The brackets were exactly what I wanted and the price was the best. It was a great purchase. Excellent item, excellent price, and excellent delivery time. You can bet, I saved your web page and will be back for other things. Thank you!

by:

Everything I needed for my boat trailer I found at a good price. The discriptions of the product were also good, delivery was quick. No reason not purchase again.

by:

I used these to install bunk boards on my boat lift and they worked great, I used u bolts to hold them in place which makes it easy to adjust.

by:

NICE PRODUCT BUT A BIT PRICEY I BOUGHT 8 AND WILL USE THEM . I BUILD 4 OR 5 TRAILERS A YEAR AND I MADE THE BUNK HOLDERS MYSELF FOR ABOUT 3 BUCKS APIECE JUST THOUGHT I WOULD BUY YOURS TO TRY THEM OUT YOU FIGURE 8 OR 10 PER TRAILER AT $3 COMPARE TO $ 15 EATS INTO MY SMALL PROFIT . YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT IT IS GREAT QUALITY JUST TO COSTLY FOR MY SMALL OPERATION . THANK YOU !

by:

Hi Katie; The product I ordered was just what I needed, rebuilding my pontoon boat trailer. the items got to me quicker than I expected and good to know you had them in stock. I will continue to purchase items from e-trailer, service is great.
Thank You

  • How Would CE Smith Pontoon Boat Bolster Brackets Attach to Trailer Crossmember
If the # CE10052-32G was going to get attached to a trailer cross member you would want to bolt it through the cross member since the bolt holes wouldn't line up properly with a u-bolt. Since the install holes go left to right on the bracket the bracket couldn't align properly on a cross member. It would be turned 90 degrees from where it would need to face.

  • Can Pontoon Boat Trailer Bunk Boards be Attached Directly to Trailer Frame at One End w/o a Bracket
I understand. It took me a minute but after I went out and looked at a pontoon boat trailer we have outside it does make sense. So at one end of the bunk board you want to attach it directly to where a bracket such as # CE10052-32G normally would attach instead of using a bracket at that end. You can do that provided that the final position of the bunk boards are lined up properly to cradle the pontoons on the boat. It seems like it might be off a little if you did it that way but at...

  • Hole Spacing in Base of C.E. Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G
According to my contact at C.E. Smith, the manufacturer of the Bolster Bracket you referenced, the center to center dimension of the two holes in the base of the bracket is 1-1/4 inches with a 5/8 inch space between the two holes. Using U-bolts to mount the bracket would work just fine. I have edited a photo for you that shows the dimensions.

  • How Wide is the CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE10052-32G
I went out to the warehouse and pulled a CE Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G to measure it. The actual width, not the span, is approximately 2 inches. It is actually just a hair under 2 inches but each one could be slightly different because of the galvanization process.

  • Does the CE Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G Have a Weight Capacity
The CE Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G that you referenced is designed for supporting a pontoon boat when on a trailer so it could work for your pontoon lift. I spoke to my contact at CE Smith about the weight capacity of the bracket and she said that it does not have a stated weight capacity. The average pontoon boat weighs about what yours weighs so it should work well.

  • Can CE Smith Bolster for Pontoon Boats Be Used with 1987 JC Tritoon Boat
Since your pontoon boat has three pontoons to spread the weight of the boat over you can use the # CE10052-32G for the bunks for them. I'd go with at least 4 bracket per pontoon, but more if you want to be cautious. One bolt through the boards to the bracket would be all you'd need.

  • How Many CE Smith Bolster Brackets Are Needed for a Pontoon Boat Trailer
The CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers part # CE10052-32G don't have a listed weight capacity. Therefore, it will be up to the installer to determine suitability. That said, a general rule for pontoon boats is to have at least four supports per side. In regards to securing the brackets, you can either drill directly into the crossmember or use some sort of u-bolt.

The CE Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G that you referenced is designed for supporting a pontoon boat when on a trailer so it could work for your pontoon lift. It is made of galvanized steel which will resist corrosion. Most lift components are made of galvanized steel so this should resist corrosion just as well as most lifts.

  • Adding Bunks to 20 Foot Boat Trailer with Deep V Hull
To add additional bunks on your trailer you'd need to attach them to the crossmembers like what I can see under your boat in your picture. To do that the # CE10003G would be a great option that can attach in that orientation. Looks like there's two crossmembers so a total of 4 brackets would be what you'd need to add an additional two bunks. I attached a review video for these for you to check out as well.

I suggest 10 of the CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel - Qty 1, # CE10052-32G. For your bunk boards, I recommend the CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting - Black - 18' Long x 18" Wide, # CE11349. • Why Does the CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers Not Have A Weight Capacity
The CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers part # CE10052-32G does not have a listed weight capacity per the manufacturer. The reason for this is because the weight of most pontoon boats is pretty standard so I don't believe you will have an issue. If you need some sort of metric to gauge capacity, the bracket is made of 3/8" thick steel. I took a look at the reviews and there were almost no mentions of weight being a factor. The more you use however, the more support you will have.
