Gravel and highway towing can leave fresh chips on the bow even with mud flaps in place. This stone guard mounts at the trailer with adjustable panels to improve protection. You keep the front of your boat safe on long hauls and rough access roads.
Long highway pulls and gravel access roads can leave gel coat surfaces exposed to stones, debris, and saltwater before the boat ever reaches the ramp. Stone chip protection shields delicate gel coat surfaces and works to prevent chips, scuffs, and erosion that can reduce resale value. After a dirty tow, the bow area has a physical barrier in place against the debris kicked up during transport.
Fixed guards can miss the impact zone if they don't line up with the boat and trailer. Modular, adjustable panels can be angled to fit most boat trailers for an aerodynamic fit, giving you a way to tune coverage around the front profile of the boat. Once set, the guard sits closer to the debris path and keeps protection focused where towing wear usually shows up first.
Protective gear can get annoying fast if it blocks the bow or winch area during normal loading routines. Broad YKK zipper panels give you access to the boat while the stone guard stays mounted. You can reach the front area during setup or unloading without taking the whole guard off the trailer.
Plenty of owners don't want to drill into a trailer just to add protection for a trip. Drill-free installation uses included bungee cords, U-bolts, and brackets, with heavy-duty galvanized U-bolts made to securely hold the A-frame safely. The guard mounts as a practical upgrade for frequent towing while leaving permanent trailer changes out of the job.
Repeated towing puts the guard through road spray, debris, vibration, and changing weather. Marine-grade stainless steel frame construction, heavy-duty mesh panels, a high-grit finish, and removable covers address those conditions with materials and serviceable parts. Covers can be cleaned or replaced after messy trips, and the frame and panels remain in place for the next tow.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our D-Flector Boat Stone Guard. All right folks, these are designed to protect with superior protection, the hull of your boats, the side of your boats, and they range between 4.2 to 8.5 meters in length. The mesh panels are secured to the frame of your trailer using individual bungee cords, like you can see here on the top and around the whole part of the stainless steel tube. Never using cable ties or anything like that. Now, I've got it set up here just on a demo platform.
Obviously, I don't have a boat trailer in the studio today, but the concept here is pretty simple. As you can see, you've got brackets down here in the front and those are going around the tongue, the straight tongue to be exact, of the boat trailer. And then back and back here on both sides of the rear over there and over here, you've got U-bolts and a bottom plate that sandwich that trailer frame to hold this in place. Again, all the metal tubing here is stainless steel, and like I said, you've got bungee cords here holding everything in place. It truly is a quick, simple, easy no drill installation.
Took us about 20 or 30 minutes out of the box to set this up. It does use a nice aerodynamic design that's gonna help streamline the wind and also keep debris and everything away. Now, this does feature advanced built-in stone ship protection, as we're calling it, and that's gonna keep your boat free of road debris, impacts, and you know, by doing that, you're saving not only money in high costly repairs, but you're also saving time of not being able to use your boat due to those repairs. And both sides also have this matching zippered window. So now I can easily access the front of the boat, whether it's tie down straps, the winch, anything.
I can now unzip this window, get in there, get what I need to do, and then when I'm done, simply zipper it back up all the way around. And then I'm ready to hit the road again and have a nice, safe, event free trip. And I know the hull of my boat, the sides of my boat, everything is protected from those debris, chips, nicks, and those kind of things. Well, folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look together at this D-Flector Boat Stone Guard. I'm Steven.
Thanks for watching.
