I added this light kit to the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 60" Tall - Black - 1 Pair Part Number: CE27646. They turned out perfect. High quality parts and super simple to install. I love the visibility it gives me at the boat ramp in low light to no light conditions when backing down and loading my boat. I also love the visibility it gives to other motorists while traveling for safety.

I had a light go bad on my float on boat trailer for my flats boat so I ordered a replacement set from ETRAILER and after a years worth of use I’m happy to say they’re still working great. Have had these on my boat trailer for a few years. I'm fine that they add a safety Factor when trailering and help guide the boat onto the trailer when I'm loading and unloading. I'm a one man band in that department.

Safety first. These are a great addition for rear safety, and also for looking in mirror to locate the trailer while traveling. Also these lights are outside the boats widest point, so other vehicles stay clear when passing. When launching or retrieval of the boat at night it gives you more references to aim for.

All the steel is not rusted yet. I've had to replace wiring and connectors, they rusted out in 1 year.

Ok, slickest thing, I love them, they stand up tall and when the tail lights disappear when backing down a boat ramp you can still see these to keep your trailer straight. GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT SERVICE! Red in the rear and amber on the front half... Can't say enough about them.

Very well, cant believe I have been going with out them all these years. Used to take 3 people to trailer my boat, now I do it myself if I need to, cant speak highly enough about them. Highly recommend these for anyone thinking about guide ons.

I have not installed these lights as of yet. They fit the poles perfectly.I can't wait to connect the wiring and begin using them. They were delivered quickly and the directions seem to be simple, This company always provides great product and service!

The lights are working great! They were very easy to install and have really made a difference when trailering my boat st night.. These lights are nice and bright! Traveling down the road at night make my trailer easy to see.

When I ordered the original guide posts with lights, I really liked the lights on top of the posts for backing my trailer at night. However the light bulbs were continuously going bad from road vibrations. At that time the LED's weren't available. The new LED lights have totally solved this problem. The orange and red lights under the clear cover are bright enough to be seen for a good distance but not so bright that they blind you while backing up the trailer.

I think these lights are a great idea. The poles I plan to use them on are a different size than the ones intended, so I had to make a spacer to make up the difference. My boat is much older with guide poles as part of the frame structure. Since I'm already in the process of redoing the lights anyway, I'll include these lights into the harness. My only suggestion would have been to include a turn signal/brake light into the lamp assembly. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

sorry i ever put these on my trailer. each year i have to purchase more because they go bad or a wire breaks. because they are on the end of a 4 foot pvc pole , they vibrate with road travel and it causes all kinds of problems.

thanks for the quick delivery. i have installed one to replace the broken one and will keep the other as a spare for the next time they need to be replaced.

Hello Louis, thanks for reaching out. Our best option for you is the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27635. These are 75" tall and they come with I-beam clamps. The clamps will fit I beams with a width between 2-1/2" and 4-1/2" so they will work with your 4" I beams. Technically you could install LED tail light # STL78RB wherever you wanted. I haven't seen stop, tail, and turn lights on guide posts but I'm sure it can be done.
