Create a fixed-position tie-down point on your boat trailer with this heavy-duty mounting bracket. It bolts onto your trailer and provides a 30-degree mounting angle. Made of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel.
Features:
Specs:
The 30-degree mounting angle of this bracket makes it simple to attach a rope or to hook up straps by spacing the anchor away from the wall or floor, proving easy access to the tie-down hole.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Perfect fit for my needs!
Tie downs fit perfect for the transom straps…. First time trying the guide posts and I love them. Easy to install on trailer and will work perfectly.
One minor change is the large zip ties that come with the covers are a bit cumbersome and difficult to work with….I just replaced with regular zip ties and tightened them to my liking and it looks great….. being a hunter I absolutely love these. Definitely will keep etrailer for any future purchases. Get customer service and fast shipping

Fold of the metal was inconsistent between the two individual pieces.
Was able to to bend with no issues- great products and service!

No problems. Worked as I had hoped.
Great replacement for my old rusted out ones that where actually on the trailer light brackets. These bolted right up to the frame for a much more sturdier install.
Excelleny quaility as expected but what was a surprise and quite unexpected was the like-overnight delivery.
Purchase with total confidence. Thank you so much.
Identical To what is currently on my boat trailer.
A really substantial piece that is heavily galvanized. It should hold up very well to the saltwater environment.
Perfect for tying down your boat or in my case, a jet ski. Super easy to install. I now have a place to hook my straps to.
Great product exactly what I need to attach a strap over to center of the boat to on either side.
Heavy Duty, works good
This is going to replace the eyebolts that are currently screwed into the carpet/wood bunks. The eye bolts, that were on the trailer when I purchased the boat, are all rusted now from the saltwater and I no longer trust them to securely hold the boat transom to the trailer. Since the small holes on the tie-down brackets are 1/2", I'm going to install them at the bunk supports (which are also 1/2" U-bolts). Only have to un-bolt the rear side of each U-bolt and add the tie-down bracket and re-bolt the bunk support.

Still going strong and looking good after a years worth of saltwater ramp activity. The old eye bolts actually broke apart when i extracted them. What a simple, inexpensive solution these C E Smith tie-downs turned out to be.
Exactly what I was looking for, I couldn't have had it specially made for my application and it been any better.
These hold down brackets are well made with no sharp edges, and heavily galvanized. For some reason my boat trailer came without a bracket to tie down the boat transom to the trailer, these should do the job nicely.

No problems then or now, should outlast the trailer.
Good quality. Arrived pretty quickly.
Ordering 4 more even.
Perfect tie down.
Perfect anchor point for tying down your boat or anything else. Use the proper length 1/2 inch bolt and it is very strong. Just the right angle to get a tie down hook in it. Very happy with this item.

Still looking like new, no rust. Very strong.
6 wks. ago I started on a refurbishing project off a 1988 Holsclaw boat trailer. I stripped all the paint off, ground and sanded the rust, primed and painted everything, replaced ALL the fasteners with stainless stell and some galvanized. I ordered several things from etrailer.com . Everything I ordered was to exact specifications and the shipping was on-time, everytime. I ordered several bearing items to repack the hubs, this coupler and nifty lifting handle, transom tie down brackets, spare tire carrier and 3 new 570x80 tires mounted on galvanized rims and the company installed stems, free of charge! I love the way this project came out and I've thoroughly enjoyed shopping @ etrailer.com! Thank you!
Exactly as described. Used a T-Nut on the top of the bunk with a bolt through the tie down bracket up through the bottom of the bunk.

Still working great.
parts does what it is intended to do, finish has lasted well even in our harsh salt conditions here in FL.
Really heavy bracket. Will be used for a bow tie down point on a boat trailer. Price was less than 1/2 of that wanted at local marine shops.

Its been a great addition to my trailer and continues to work exactly as planned.
The part arrived promptly and was exactly what I ordered. I was able to install it quickly and now my cross-boat transom strap holds tight.

This item is still going strong a year after I installed it. It looks just like the day I installed it on the trailer. Very happy with the purchase.
I needed to modify my tie down points on my boat trailer to allow the straps to clear the trim tabs. These brackets were perfect for my application and worked out great. The prices and availability at retailer are what keeps me purchasing from them.
One of two parts has the galvanizing flaking off. Wasn't planning on prime and paint but now I have to.
I have a 25' center console with twin 150 outboards on jackplates. When I added trim tabs, it left a very narrow opening for a tie-down strap for the stern, and there was nothing on the trailer in that spot.
My boat is about 6,000 lbs, and I used 2 of the brackets for each side (4 total) with Grade 8 bolts and washers.
It was easy to install, well made, and well priced.
Worked very well, used them for tie downs on my utility trailer.
