These angled brackets help you to position your BoatBuckle G2 tie-downs around other items on your trailer and position the tie-downs off of your trailer's frame, making the ratchets easier to access and use.
Note: Tie-downs should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using tie-downs with a WLL of 1,500 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 pounds, then you need at least 2 tie-downs to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Includes 2 brackets and mounting hardware.Install was super easy! Construction of bracket looks very sturdy! Finish on bracket is well done too. Attached my retractable boat buckle with ease. Took 20 minutes for both sides. Bolts that came with bracket are great too. I added one more washer to make even more sturdy. Can't take boat out yet but will be interested to see how it holds up going down the road.
I purchased the Boat Buckle transom tie-downs for my fishing boat and I did not like the angle that they were going to be at, the strap was going to rub against the bottom edge of my boat, so I drove 120 miles to get some tubing that was the exact size to weld on to my trailer to extend it, then I decided to try these brackets. I put them on last night and I could not be happier with the way that they worked out. Saved me a lot of work extending my trailer tubing.

Still fine, no problems. Working great !!
The brackets are ok. The fasteners are crap. I didn’t use them. Brought stainless steel ones from a local supplier.
These worked good on my shorelander boat trailer but they did cover up some of the the taillight. You be the judge.
Fit perfect with my Shorelander trailer and ratchet tie down strap. It also kept the strap straight when tied down.
Glad I ordered this, needed to attach my retractable boat buckle.
Made it possible to mount the tie down straps in the correct place for my boat.
These are a game changer for sure and no more misplacing straps or losing them. Everything is right there. Time will tell how well these hold up but easy install

These brackets worked great on my sons jet ski trailer, I got him two to go with his Boattbuckle G2 Retractable tie-downs. They fit great and did the trick. Very good product.
great product. I had bought straps but because of the way my brackets on the trailer were tilted I couldn't use them correctly. I purchased these and they made the straps work perfect.
The boatbuckles are absolutely fantastic. They were easy to install with two wrenches. Work easily and hold down nicely. The mounting brackets allowed me to position the boatbuckles in the exact location for easy hand access to the buckle. My only concerns are the metal parts in the buckles. Will they rust over time? The only maintenance suggested is water but nothing about oil. Salt water may be a problem but don't know. Time will tell. For now I REALLY like them.

Still doing the job they were built to do and doing it well:
Worked exactly as expected. Keeps the retractable tie downs from rubbing on my boat hull. Been using for a year with no issues!
The product was just as advertised. Worked perfectly on my Bass Tracker trailer.
The greatest thing about dealing with eTrailer was that their price was less than half of some of the big box stores like BassPro, Cabellas, and Amazon.

After a year, it is still working perfectly. It is reliable and super easy to use.
These were needed for my Boat Buckle install. They allowed for tail light clearance and a better pull down angle on the boats transom. These were used on a Shorelander boat trailer. I think they could be heavier duty since they do hold the boat to the trailer.

These are good; they helped me to obtain a good flat fit of the BoatBuckle strap across my transom at an angle.
Bracket is a bit flimsy and flexes when under tension. Not a big problem, but not the same result when mounting to the rigid trailer. A simple gusset would solve this issue.

Works exactly as I hoped. i.e. keep the BoatBuckle straps from rubbing the gel coat on the boat.

Very satisfied with these parts on my RangerTrail trailer. The BoatBuckles are OEM on RangerTrail trailers, so I new they would be great. What I didnt know, was how great the service would be from etrailer.com.Thanks!

Worked great!!! I used these brackets for a seadoo boat trailer that had awkward angled transom mount points. The brackets enable me to use a mounted retractable transom tie down. I would recomend this product it was a cheap but high quality product shipping and communication was also excellent!!!
Product came from Etrailer in a timely manner. I was able to easily install the brackets on my boat trailer and then install the retractable Boat Buckles. My only complaint was one of the nuts was Extremely difficult to screw on to the bolt. Initially I thought the nut was made this way so it would fit tight but it was most likely
a defective nut from the manufacturer. I would definitely order further products from Etrailer.
Mounting this on a vertical tie down tab on my trailer causes the Boat Buckle to swivel up and out of alignment. It can not be tightened enough to keep from twisting. Trying to make a universal bracket does not work in this case. A long leg on the 90 degree side would ride on the trailer channel and eliminate the twisting.

Install was easy. I have a small fishing boat and an EZ boat trailer. Installed with no problem. Used my boat and trailer all summer and most trips were about 1.5 hrs one way. No issues with buckles. So much easier than the strap I used for years. Quick, easy, locks tight and no messing around with the strap since I usually fish by myself. Super happy with my purchase.
