The battery is an excellent purchase.
Product shipped and delivered fast. Installed in about 20 minutes. Hope I never have to find out if it works.
Good quality and well protected
Good breakaway switch, but no way to know whether the battery is fully charged.
The u-bolts worked great for mounting the battery box on an electric tongue jack. I ended up heat shrinking the leads coming out and then siliconed the hole so no water could get in. I was not able to fully test the break away switch and stop the trailer with the battery but feel confident in the product.
I also bought a new plug with attached junction box. The battery and charger were straight forward to wire. The only problem I had was that my old trailer wire colors did not match the new plug colors. Once I sorted out my wires everything worked well. I think it is a good battery kit
HAD TO DRILL NEW HOLES BUT OTHERWISE INSTALL WAS EASY JUST CUT AND CRIMP WIRES USED HEAT SHRINK AND SEAL BUTT CONNECTORS.
This was a replacement for an aging unit. Installation was straightforward. I hope to never need the unit as it would only come in to use in the event of a loose trailer so I cannot comment on it's function.
Easiest and best upgrade to my boat trailer brakes. Would recommend to anyone.

Wish it had a battery stus indicator. Only one that fit the jack.

Have only pulled it to test it, but I do that before every boating season, still working thus far, still have not had to use it in a emergency

The battery can be tested for 14Vh. During the operation, the system provides a trickle charge to maintain battery voltage. When battery voltage is under 6V, the tester circuit will not have power and the red or green light on the switch will not activate, indicating that the battery is dead. I recommend using a break away kit with a battery tester like item # 20099.
