A dependable suspension starts with solid steel. This 95" long axle beam is made from high-strength steel with a 2-3/8" diameter tube and has a 3,500-lb weight capacity to handle typical loads with confidence. Spring seats are welded at an 80" center spacing, ready to mount leaf springs securely for a balanced ride.
Keeping bearings lubricated doesn’t have to be messy or complicated. Each spindle includes an Easy Grease zerk fitting right on the end so you can add grease without disassembly. It’s compatible with L68149 inner and L44649 outer bearings and a 58846 seal (1.719" inner diameter), making upkeep quick and straightforward whenever it’s time to service your hubs.
If you want braking power later, this axle is already set up for it. Welded brake flanges let you bolt on drum or disc brake assemblies whenever you’re ready—no extra fabrication required. That flexibility makes it easy to build out your trailer just how you want while keeping everything aligned and secure from the start.

The new axle solved the tire wear problem. I hit a pothole on Hwy 18 the shook the motorhome so bad I stopped and checked all the tires. Tells you something about Washington roads. Everything looked OK. But after 300 miles the left front tire was worn out. I have about 5,000 miles on the new axle and the tires still look new. The axle was very easy to replace.

I needed to replace my 3500lb drop axle. etrailer.com website is easy to navigate. I found a new axle, the price was reasonable, free shipping, it arrived in a few days and fit perfectly. I’m totally happy with the axle and the service I received from etrailer. I will definitely use them again.
Part was an exact fit
The product is very good, but the method of shipping was terrible. Originally, I ordered this about a month ago and the first one was shipped to me by USPS which I never received. I had to call Amy to re-order another one 2 weeks later. The second one was sent by UPS and I received it within four days. Amy is very helpful.
