When the road turns white or you’re facing a slick hill, the diamond pattern of these tire chains keeps even pressure and traction across your tread. The layout gives constant contact for a smoother ride than ladder-style chains and helps you dig into packed snow and light ice for steady forward motion.
No more stopping in the cold to crank the chains tight. The built-in servo ratcheting device automatically tensions and centers the chains once you clip them on and flip the switch to “drive.” They adjust themselves as you roll, keeping a snug, even fit on every trip.
These chains meet SAE Class S clearance requirements, perfect for vehicles with limited wheel-well room. The 3.5 mm square links bite firmly into snow and ice while staying low-profile for a smoother, quieter ride. It’s a strong setup that doesn’t rub or snag inside tight wheel wells.
High-quality titanium alloy steel stands up to repeated winter use without rusting or weakening. The tough links shrug off moisture and road salt, so your chains stay ready for the next storm. Plastic rim protectors prevent scuffs while you drive, and when the job’s done, the included storage case keeps everything tidy.
These chains are made for quick access in changing weather. Their compact design stores neatly in your trunk so they’re always on hand for unexpected snow. When the forecast turns, you’ll be ready to mount up fast and keep rolling with confidence.

In the year that I have owned these, I have used them exactly once and I can say that under conditions it can be a bit tricky and at times frustrating. I suspect that additional installations on the side of the road will improve the time and patience it takes to install them. Removal was fairly simple, but putting them back into the case can be a challenge - Do note, they will scuff up your rims, but that can be polished out. One key take away: Everythings easier on a dry run literally dry... lol

Having used them but a few times on a vehicle that surely doesn’t belong in the snow I’m amazed. Not by the performance so much but again in the ease of installation. As to performance, chains are chains in that they work as they should. Cable traction devices do not and do not last for beans. It’s perhaps why you see so many pitched off onto the road or someone off the side trying to unwrap them from their axle. These not only do the job but adjust immediately, stay on and take but a few minutes to remove.

These chains have held up really well. Got the installation process, in stormy snowy conditions, down to 5 minutes or less per wheel. I dont like to rely on the self-tensioning feature so I release the servo and tug on the cable to make sure that the cable is retracted and tightened as much as possible and then I let the self-tensioning feature do its job when I move the vehicle. These chains have gotten me out of my street and to work before the plow comes through the street. Definitely recommend them!

That is a shame to hear that the clip for the tensioner was not unlatching for you. I have gotten in contact with some of our install team to check this out, and we have found that there are times when the red notch on the tensioner will get stuck due to the amount of tension. So what you can do, is squeeze the tensioner to release some pressure off of the red latch. Then push the red button to release the chains.
